EDMOND over Bxb blue
TYAA and Sand Spring GOTW. This could go either way. Size of SS I don't think Blue as seen yet this year. Speed for Blue I don't know SS can handle it.
BXB RED all over Owasso Red on their way to yet another final 4 appearance
METRO over U silver. This wont be a Raider BYE WEEK.

The ELITE 8. All these games could go either way! I wish I could watch them all!
Of course I'm taking the BIG Red Machine all day long. Owasso Red had a great game against Choctaw. They showed up and showed what smash mouth "real" football is all about. They have some great athletes with probably the 2nd best RB in the league. BXB seem to be well rested, healthy, and hungry. BixbyRed 20 OwassoRed 0.
Bixby Blue beat a top team in JenksSilver showing they can play with anyone. Their defense is playing strong and even though they do have "The President" at RB, they showed that they have more offensive weapons than just him. The Bulldogs will have their hands full as they play their 1st "real" test. The top offense in the league and one of the top defenses will finally get to show the east they are a top contender to win it all this year. I just hope BOTH teams show up this Saturday and leave it all out on the field. If that happens, I give the edge to the home team . Edmond 20 BixbyBlue 12.
TYAA Bluedawgs have dominated everyone this year with their defense but they will be going against a defense that is just as good this Saturday. The Sandites are clicking on all cylinders at the right time. The atmosphere will be crazy and SandSprings trying to get ALL their kids 7plays will be a challenge here and because of that, I give the edge to the Bluedawgs. TYAABluedawgs 7 SandSprings 6.
The "Greatest Show on Turf" might be playing one of the toughest teams in the league. Metro has been a fun team to watch this year. They've done nothing but get better every week. UnionSilver will be the 1st team they've played all year with as much talent as they have. SPEED everywhere. We'll see if that speed can outlast the toughness of them Metro boys. If the HotBoys show up, I think they run away with it. UnionSilver 26 Metro 13.

Edmond Bulldogs host Bixby Blue
I would have given the pick to Edmond for home field advantage but Jenks Silver is a tough team. That game was played in tough conditions in Jenks house and Blue found a way to win. Close one but Blue by a nose!
TYAA Blue hosts Sand Springs
Size and physicality are on both teams here. TYAA has been here year after year and they are battle tested. Low scoring defensive slug fest by TYAA takes this one at home.
Bixby Red hosts Owasso Red*
This is a rematch of a game played earlier in the season and Bixby Red handled business then. They seem to be healed up and clicking more offensively now than in that game so I think this is a win for them. Bixby Red by at least 2 scores.
Metro Christian hosts Union Silver
This one can go either way and both teams are well coached. I think U Silver size and speed will be too much for the Patriots and as long as Silver contains #6 this game goes their way. Low scoring 13-8 victory.

Edmond Bulldogs host Bixby Blue By far, Edmond's toughest test of the year. If they show up and play their game, they win this one at home.
TYAA Blue hosts Sand Springs This is going to be a slug-fest between two of the top defenses in the league this year. It could really go either way but I will give Blue the slight advantage at home.
Bixby Red hosts Owasso Red O-Red is consistently in the top INFC teams for this grade but Bixby has been tested a few times this year and always finds ways to win (especially at the end of the season).
Metro Christian hosts Union Silver Both teams are very good so this is a tough choice. I guess I will make a clean sweep and pick the home team in all four of these games.

Edmond over BXB Blue- I gotta roll with the Bulldogs in this one. The President gets impeached come Saturday.
O-Red over The Red Machine- UPSET ALERT- I like the way this O-Red team is built. If they don't run outta gas, I believe they have a punchers chance. BXB Red been here before so without a doubt they will be ready to play.
Bluedogs over Sand Springs- I don't see any path to victory for SS. It will be close but I don't see any any way the Sandites put up at least 13 pts on that Defense. In fact, I think Blues defense outscores SS offense. But hey prove me wrong Sandites
Hot Boys over Metro- This will be an extremely tight game. I think these teams match up well.
We'll see how it goes. "Just win, baby"

Edmond vs BXB Blue
My heart wants to go with BXB Blue. They showed up against Jenks, but can they do it two games in a row or will they be hung over on Halloween candy. Edmond continues to represent the west side and pulls away at the end.

Going to be a battle and who has the will to win. If Sand Springs had fewer kids to get plays for I would pick them but Dawgs will expose the substations and win a close one.
Metro vs Union Silver
I guess it was the weather that kept Union Silver from blowing out a decimated Owasso White squad. Metro is disciplined and on a mission. Metro wins in a late score.
