Title: INFC Standings
Post by: OUriggs on October 01, 2019, 11:42:46 am
Has anyone else looked at these standings / points / win loss on the website? These numbers are off big time on us and I a assuming a lot of you guys as well.
Where do they get this information from? If it is what they are going to base division standings and playoffs with something needs to be said and done I would think!
 :o :o ??? ???

At first glance of some of the top teams this looks fairly accurate although this isn't something I've been looking at. For the playoffs it should just be a matter of the top 3 teams from each division right? I'd think that should be fairly easy to dispute and iron out ahead of time. What are you seeing specifically? Wins and loss errors or just points totals?

Pretty sure it's just based off what the reported scores are. Just like where they're posting the weekly game scores on the website. I didn't realize it was being updated the first 2 weeks but it has been accurate to what people are posting on the forum.

it shows our record as 3-2 and it is really 5-0 also scores are way off it also shows us losing our last game which we actually won

Which team are you again? Can't remember from last year. Have you checked the weekly scores part?

Looked harder just now and the standings column is also pretty goofy. Not sure how that nimber is getting assigned.  At first it makes a little sense, but for example south tulsa is in a 6 way tie for 8 i guess but sand springs is 24th even though they have the same record and south Tulsa's point differential is way better.

Yeah, its just a bad formula in the website or something.  Collinsville is showing as 4-1 also yet they haven't lost a game. Checked what it shows in the weekly reported scores and they are showing all wins there also. Might be worth a phone call to the INFC office.

Skiatook right? If so, your weekly score from the berryhill game is wrong also Riggs.  Shows berryhill beating you 35-0.

BA tells us to email the scores each weekend.
