Title: Play Clock
Post by: walker32flu on September 17, 2022, 03:38:50 pm
Why are the referees not keeping a play clock? They are giving teams 60-90 seconds??? What happened to 25 seconds. You question them on it and they wanna get an aggressive attitude about it and say ““what does it matter, your winning 14-0” When a team has 24+ players it makes it really hard to get 12 plays for your kids. Something has to be done about this and referees need to do there job and keep a play clock. It’s not that hard.

I guess we all learned something new today. We have no complaints but our refs said that we have 25 seconds between plays. I thought it was 35 seconds??? Sounds like we have to speed it up?💨💨🏃🏾🏃🏾  No worries….

😂 I confirmed it with another INFC referee.  It goes to 25 seconds for 4th grade and up.

@coach j that’s not true. Infc goes by the standard nfhs clock which is 25 seconds. There is special enforcement rules for mighty might football that state the clock is 35 seconds. But starting in 3rd grade the playclock is 25 seconds and starts on the ready for play from the referee
