Usually, there is a confirmation spreadsheet where teams can check to see if they are signed up. That is always stressful - did the local director get an email from my team's coach about playing? It would really bite to find that information out NOW - somehow bet that you'd struggle to get added in.

Consider that leadership should already know the number of teams playing in each bracket (upper and lower, if I understand it correctly this year) it is a matter of plugging in names once they are seeded. Just how hard is that, anyway?

Waiting for an email or text that says, "surprise! your son's team plays Monday!"

There was an email sent out twice from the commissioner to each club showing the teams that confirmed whether they were playing in the tournament if they did not make the playoffs etc.. It was the clubs responsibility to send that to the coaches for them to confirm. Not sure why you would not have seen that.

The brackets were posted last night after the commission set game times and locations and then they were double checked.. However we are human and there were a couple of mistakes made. I know of three minor mistakes that were caught late at night after the brackets were posted.. To my knowledge nothing was being rescheduled. There may have been a team mistakenly seeded that was moved to another line. (more than likely same night and location, just different opponent and time.) And I believe a team was mistakenly put in the playoffs when they should have been in the tournament. However, nothing that would cause any major reschedule.
