Hate this gap week in the schedule... would rather start after labor day than have the layoff... Hard to get our football fix then go back to nothing for a week, so hopefully everyone found a scrimmage or used this time to sharpen their swords for the upcoming battle.

Muskogee vs BA Black- Two playoff teams IMO, and both have nice size and speed to compliment.  Muskogee took care of business in week one with a convincing win, and they have home run hitters all over the place.  BA Black did the same, however I think the black tigers are a more aggressive front on D.  Going with the tigers to win by 2 TDs

Jenks Maroon vs BA Platinum- Both teams felt the heat right out of the gate, but I think maroon can come out and get the train on the tracks for this one.  Trojans by 1 score

Bixby Blue vs BA Orange- Bixby is gonna shock a few teams this season, and very well could make the dance if they put together some upsets along the way.  BA is an aggressive team with good size on the line so this won't be a walk in the park, but the spartans pull away in the 3rd quarter and win by 2 scores.

Jenks Silver vs BA Gold- Can't place too much stock in this one since the INFC has not only suspended the coach, but I guess the new rule is that they suspend the coaches son as well.  Seems pretty harsh to hurt the kid/team especially when he's the QB.  Regardless I think Silver fights to the end, but BA Gold is just too good to overcome losing your HC and QB against and still win, even with #42 AKA Mike Alstott running the rock.  BA wins by a score!

Bixby White vs Union Red-GOTW- Justice came out week one as advertised and put on a show, as well as dominated on the defensive side of the ball.  URed can surely hit the big play on you, and I can see them putting a few in the EZ, but Bixby has the speed and line to keep him contained enough to pull out the win.  Bixby and their 1-2 combo take down the redskins by 3 scores

Owasso Black vs Union Black- Home opener in the land of the rams for OBlack 2028, and we hope to christen this ship with a win.  I expect a good football game and may the best team win!

Union Silver vs Sand Springs- I'm gonna call it right now and say that Sand Springs will spoil a few dreams this season.  They have some absolute dawgs on that squad, and no one sums up leaving it all on the field more than #11.  Kid is all over the place, both sides of the ball, all game long.  Took every big hit we could dish out and never quit.  That kind of ball will straight up win you games, and he's not the only one either! #15 can sling the rock if he gets time and if he doesn't is a threat to beat you with his legs.  All that being said, Union Silver has been mighty impressive in the early stages of this season.  I think they are running the offense like clockwork and defensively  they can match up with anyone.  I've got a feeling this one will be close, but the redskins pull it out by a score.

Owasso Red vs Jenks White- Both teams took their lumps in the first contest and neither found the end zone in close losses.  I don't foresee that happening to either team in this one, but I just can't pick against Jenks White after that loss, with two weeks to marinate/prepare.  I have seen first hand that Ored is bringing a new intensity in practice so I expect an absolute dog fight North on 169 next saturday night, and I'm rooting for them to prove me wrong! I'll bet a fistful of dollars that Wiltshire gets in the lab and tweaks what's necessary and we see the Jet touch the ball 20+ in this one.  Jenks wins by two TDs and I hope I'm wrong!

Happy Labor Day weekend fellas!
