Bartlesville @ (Sapulpa)—Bartlesville is fiery, but Sapulpa’s big backs will be a bit much for them. Sapulpa pulls away late.

Muskogee @ (Bixby Blue)—Muskogee has some great coaches and they will be on the rise all year, but Blue is a tough opener. Bixby Blue with the win.

Jenks Black @ (Bixby Red)—Conventional wisdom says Red. Scrimmages say Black, they’ve looked really good. I just know Bixby Red has always been a super tough defensive team, and handled teams with speed very well. I wanna say Black, but I have to go with the perennial playoff team, but wouldn’t be surprised at all of Jenks wins.

Jenks White @ (BA Black)—Similar to Jenks/Bixby… Jenks White has looked really impressive in the scrimmages, and Black is the perennial power. BA Black is a very tough team. They’re physical on defense, and have some dudes running the ball. And just maybe played it close to the vest on offense at the scrimmages. Black will have to win in the trenches, limit big plays and control the clock to get it done. Close game here, could go either way… so I’ll go with our practice neighbors to the west.

(BA Chrome) @ Bixby White—I like Bixby White players and coaches. I think they will get better every week. But Chrome will be too much in this one.

SS Black @ (BA Platinum)—Cowboy or no? Unfortunately looking like no… we’ll be down some players, but that’s football. Everyone deals with injuries. We have a lot of great players and can’t wait to get it started this weekend. SS Black is a mystery for sure, but I know who wasn’t playing for gold, and have no doubt SS Black will be coached up and ready. I expect a great hard fought game, and we’ll see where we’re at at the end. Got to roll with my team in a tough one.

(BA Silver) @ Jenks Maroon—Oh man, speed everywhere. Huge week 1 game. They should line up and run the 4x100 after the game. Maroon, what can you say they get it done every year. Silver has some serious athletes, and possibly the best defensive lineman in our grade. I could see this going either way, both teams are very well coached and loaded with talent. I think Silver has the horses to slow down the jet at least a little. To me this comes down to Jenks’ Defense vs Silver’s offense. Tough game to pick, but I’ll roll with the Silver Tigers to get the win.

Owasso Silver @ (Union Silver)—Haven’t seen Owasso Silver, but I know Union is big, fast and aggressive. If #0 is toting the rock look out. Union gets the W.

SS Gold @ (Owasso White)—Man, what a way to start your season… Owasso White. SS Gold has some athletes and good coaches, but this is a monumental task. Owasso runs away with it.

(Union Black) @ BYE WEEK—Union 35-0

Bartlesville @ Sapulpa - watched Bartlesville in scrimmages and saw Sapulpa on film.  Bartlesville seemed disciplined and organized.  Clean football wins these first week games.  I'm taking Bartlesville     
Muskogee @ Bixby Blue - Dax is a stud and I hear Blue brought in a ringer to coach O-line.  Always been big, so if they start blocking with good technique, this team will be tough for anyone.  Blue wins this one walking away.   
Jenks Black @ Bixby Red - Not sure who Red upset, but the lack of respect on here is surprising.  Its almost like this forum is full of a bunch of Jenks coaches....wait a minute.  Black has looked good in scrimmages...on offense, but their D looked suspect and scrimmages are, well you know....scrimmages.  Red on the other hand has just always won.  I see the teams left in the league and besides the time half their team went on vacation over fall break, I think I see only 2 that have ever beaten them.  BA Black and Maroon, and if I recall they have beaten Marron 3 out 4 times they played (Coach12 can confirm if this is wrong). Well each years a new year and maybe Black brings it, but I need to see it in a game first.  I'm going with Bixby         
Jenks White @ BA Black - You think with a certain coach gone Coach12 would move on, but I guess some guys just cant help themselves.  BA Black does not look like the same team as years past, but they still have size.  Size is what you need to keep #22 under control.  Direct snap right and left works against the smaller teams, but I think Black has the size to keep him under control.  I'm taking Black in a close one   
BA Chrome @ Bixby White - Like all the BA teams, Chrome has size.  White has some athletic boys, but first year team and smaller kids will not get it done against Chrome.  I think Chrome pulls away late.
SS Black @ BA Platinum - I don't know much on either team.  I'm taking Platinum in a close game. 
BA Silver @ Jenks Maroon - Silver has a man child on the D line that will be in the backfield every play in this game, unless he lines up over #8.  Octavian brings the hat like no other safety I have seen in scrimmages, but tackling #13 and #5, 15-20 yards down field wont work.   Not sure which one of Maroons 2 plays will work best, but #13 will make one of them work (away from #50) and they get the W.     
Owasso Silver @ Union Silver - I think I saw Owasso Silver play.  If I'm thinking the right Owasso team, I believe a saw them and they seemed to throw the ball around fairly well.  I have not seen Union Silver, but I hear they lost several key players.  I'm taking Owasso Silver   
SS Gold @ Owasso White - I have liked watching Owasso over the years.  This team has gotten better each year.  They do what they are good at and don't try to get fancy.  They have lineman that go unrecognized, but simply get after it.  Getting boys to block 10 yards down field is hard at this age, but they have kids doing it every week.  I think Owasso wins this one big.
Union Black @ BYE WEEK

Man oh man, has it been a pleasure to watch Bixby Blue grow. That WR/RB/QB/MLB, all around stud, that they have will be playing for Coach Montgomery here pretty soon and then coach Riley or Saban In fact, they've got studs all over who will be hearing their name in spartan stadium before too long. Muskogee looked good during scrimmages and I appreciate the passion their DC shows, they have athletes all over as well and with Coach Hill running the show at the highest level, I would keep an eye on them in 6A-2 when these boys get up there. Good Battle but I got BIG BLUE

Jenks Black @ Bixby Red
Haven't gotten the privilege to watch Jenks Black compete on the gridiron but I've only heard good things, wouldn't be surprised if they start making some noise later in the season, BIG RED is a TOUGH first battle for anyone and I think this will be a good indicator as to how Jenks' stacks up against everyone else in this grade. Bixby has always been about their business and they have one of the best executed offenses' in this grade. They've got some big time players but one young man I've loved watching play is #7, boys had nothing but heart on that field and he's earned my respect. All in all, Ive got BIG RED in this 'spartan v trojan' battle.

Jenks White @ BA Black
These two teams are no stranger to each other and I'm hearing one got way better and the other lost their spunk, swag, and hunger that we've seen from them. Jenks' RB is a top notch 6A RB, who will fight all game, and his teammates come with the same hunger he has. The word on the street is that they have 2 22's, no way??? With Black losing multiple starters its going to really come down to coaching, putting players in the right positions and opening that O up a little bit. They've got Octavian's twin #15 and #2 who is able to hit the hole all game with minimal flash. Mixed with the rest of their studs, don't sleep on them. Ive got Black ground and pounding this one out.

BA Chrome @ Bixby White
White has a great opportunity to lineup against a well rounded team and get these pads popping for the first time, excited for Bixby to carry that new team swag and get better and better every week, gonna have to go with experience here though, I've got Chrome.

SS Black @ BA Platinum
SS always seems to get it figured out in the 7th grade and end up being a real hard nosed team, wether that's Gold or Black, only time will tell. I'm excited with what BA has done here, rather than having one big dog, why not try to have 4 big ones. Don't know how it happened or if it will work but lets hope for the best, with this team picking up cowboy and other key role players, nothing but progress ahead. (Even though we probably won't get to see Cowboys debut) I'm going Platinum here.

BA Silver @ Jenks Maroon
Wish INFC televised one regular season game per week, The Trojan powerhouse vs the restructured Silver Tigers, with the addition Octavian and his brother and big ol #50 with his teammtes, I could see them shocking us later this year, but more than likely not this week. Maroon is a 2010 TYAA team the way their backs hit the hole, with speed and power, and on defense they have a couple man-child's, specifically big swole #8, I'm sure he practices with the varsity and comes back down on Saturday's. With that being said I'm going with the jet and teammate big swole.

Owasso Silver @ Union Silver
Don't know much about Owasso Silver but I hear they have some talent, in regards to union, from what I've heard Union Silver is the better of the 2 and Union's best is as good as anyone's best. Gotta go with THE U here.

SS Gold @ Owasso White
Like I mentioned previously one of these SS teams is gonna give everyone a run for their money, but we all know the work O White has been putting in since the start. The definition of the grind. Y'all have my utmost respect. Those boys play with that same RAM pride that won the HS some chips. Big O White here.
