Wondering how you guys in “School Ball” are doing this season?  You are missed in INFC.

We combined teams and got “paid” coaches… We are 4-3 with a loss to Bishop Kelley. Started with 55 and I think we have 35 left, but it’s ok, because we only play about 15 kids. We’ve only tackled 1x in practice since we started and it shows. We haven’t COMPETED for anything and it shows by who’s on the field (going both ways) Thst doesn’t work as they get older and at a 6A level IMHO. My advice is to coach your kids as long as possible because know one knows them like you do, nor do they care about them more than you.

Never missed the INFC as much as I do right now… but thankfully tonight is our last game. Problem for my kid and about 20 others is if they wanna “play football anymore”

That really sucks man. Keep ‘em in it, cause they will forget all about the crappy years where it doesn’t seem like winning matters. 7th grade and 8th grade transition to school ball is tough. Use the off-season workouts to train and grow and work on your craft. When those kids you’re talking about hit 9th/10th grade it will pay off and they’ll forget all about it, heck it’ll prob make them better prepared to deal with crap they can’t control. Definitely doesn’t make it ok or any better though
