If any more teams want in for 7th 13U better do it now this year there are teams from the 4 state area and local teams. Going to be a great bracket with some high quality teams.

My understanding if you played school ball then you are not eligible to play in tournament. If you are caught you will lose eligibility. Does anyone have different info?

2 high school athletic directors at this time said that playing if you played school ball is a violation. However stand by they are requesting ossaa to make a decision!

D. An individual student who is attending or who is enrolled and planning to attend a member school in grades 7-12:
1. may participate on a non-school team in a league or tournament, including during this summer period as defined above, (such
as in AAU competition), however:

(a) school personnel serving as or designated to serve as a coach or assistant coach may coach that team, with the exception
that in basketball, a school coach is permitted to coach a team that includes no more than two students who participate
or are expected to participate on the same school team;

Yes i have read that one but there is another one that talks about all star games and this qualifies and it says it will not be done until all competition with ossaa is completed. That is the rule making it ineligible. However we are waiting to get word from ossaa. If you like call the athletic director in hour school. Ours gave his opinion so school ball kids won’t play from our school even if they are young enough

All-Star games are such as that...All-Star athletic contests within the meaning of this rule are single exhibition-style events to which students from different teams are invited to participate based on talent and prior performance. Sooner Classic is not inviting players based on performance these are teams that were put together two different scenarios....but I am glad someone is checking for the players.

We have heard back from athletic director for Edison. They CAN NOT play in this tournament if they played any school ball. So risk if you want they will be suspended if caught

the rules governing OSSAA has nothing to do with this tournament, someone is trying to scare players and their parents from participating.
