My son is currently in 2nd grade, is that too young to play? He's a two striper so he is big for his age. I registered him thinking he would be playing up one grade, not 2. Hes 4'7" and weighs 90 lbs

I had emailed the league and asked the same question and was told that you cannot play up two grades... only one.  My son is not a two striper so I didn't ask that question.  You might see if they make exceptions under those circumstances.
