Week 6 Pick-em's and GOTW
« on: October 03, 2018, 01:47:17 pm »
D1
CATOOSA  @  UNION BLACK - Non Division game.... I think this could be a game good thing this is a NON division because I think Catoosa is going to be a little hungover from that loss last week. OF ALL THE GAMES TO LOSE this is the one that's ok but now after last week Catoosa needs to work twice as hard to make sure they see the PLAYOFFS. I still have to pick Catoosa though.

BISHOP KELLEY  @  MUSKOGEE  - I don't think the GEE loses any more this season. Tough to give up 3 wins especially blowouts for 1 players paper work not in order or what ever the reason. If they were close games and he was the deciding factor I get it but the GEE was making it a whole team affair with multiple scores by multiple kids. Rough deal but GEE makes a statement for the rest of the season. #BlankedOutBoard #CHECK'dyerBoard

GROVE  @  OWASSO WHITE - Grove runs over a winless O-white

JENKS SILVER  @  TYAA WHITE - D1 GOTW  #1vs#2  Jenks Silver proved FreeLoader a GENIUS and almost PSYCHIC (original call 12-6 BA over JS actual 8-6) TYAA White is the top of the food chain in D1 (probably all of INFC truthfully) and with JS losing to a tough Muskogee last week I think they drop this as well.

BIXBY PLATINUM  @  BROKEN ARROW BLACK - BA Black came out and smacked Jenks last week (probably why freeloader could nap so easily in his stand...pure peace of mind after a W) so they're riding high. Platinum still struggling to put a full game together.

D2
TYAA BLUE  BYE WEEK   - Rest easy  and pray for an O-black upset  ;D ;D

SAND SPRINGS  @  SKIATOOK  - Sandites losses have be a bit closer than the bulldogs. SS beats Skiatook with ease.

UNION SILVER  @  LINCOLN CHRISTIAN   - Lincoln Christian has struggled with the top of their division and the games haven't been close I don't expect them to change now. Usilver by 14+

SEQUOYAH  @  OWASSO BLACK  - ACT OF PURE COMPLACENCY for Sequoyah to lose this but stranger things have happened it definitely would be interesting. O Black hasn't been checked yet and I think this weekend they make it a little more interesting but Sequoyah comes out on top.

BARTLESVILLE  @  BIXBY BLUE THIS IS D2 GOTW because the PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS are CRAZY. If you look at the standings and the #3U silver schedule that's left this game and then USilvers schedule could shake up D2 #3 spot. I think #1 and #2 are locked but that #3 theres a lot of opportunity for swing there. I think BXB edges the Ville in a close game with all the bells and whistles.

D3
JENKS WHITE  @  MCALESTER  - Lucky for Jenks White they lost a non division game double luck for Jenks they get to play McAlester and use this as a BYE WEEK to get better.

CATOOSA  @  UNION BLACK - Catoosa surprised me... let alone themselves in their loss last week. O-Red wanted that #3 spot and they took it. This week they get back to business but will the hangover from last week keep them from producing? Maybe a little...Catoosa wins but UBlack is no slouch this game will take some work.

UNION RED  @  BROKEN ARROW SILVER - BA Silver gets it done this week trying to keep everyone healthy for the Playoffs and really for the big game next week vs JW watching all the film they can to find that Jenks White weakness. Just make sure BA isn't looking to far past U -Red, they might come up and surprise you.

WAGONER BLACK  @  OWASSO RED  - D3 GOTW  The light at the end of the seaon tunnel for the playoffs is narrowing for some teams Wagoner Black really trying to make s jump here. If they can bump O Red this week and Catoosa next week they could all but solidify their Playoff hopes... can it be done? 1 week maybe but both? I think this week they do but Catoosa is right above trying to regain that #3. Interesting mix the next few weeks for D3

SAPULPA WHITE  @  BIXBY RED  -  ???... eenie meenie minie mo...  SAP WHITE

D4
CHOCTAW BLUE  @  STILLWATER GOLD - Choctaw Blue looks to keep momentum rolling this week over Stillwater Gold. After trouncing the Norman Tigers 40-0 they have a good shot at it this week.

YUKON  @  NORMAN TIGERS  - Yukon has this. Tigers are trying theres potential there just need more time and I think more coaches I think I only saw 3 and 2 of them were banged up like theyd been taken reps at practice.

CHOCTAW GOLD  @  STILLWATER BLUE - D4 GOTW   MAN OH MAN!!! THIS GAME!!! I think some east side teams will be wanting to see this one... This really will let everyone know how real Choctaw Gold is. #1 and #2 both undefeated... Stillwater Blue Defense only gave up 6 pts while Choctaw Gold has done the same (Choctaw Gold special teams gave 1 up in first game) Theres talent on both sides of the ball and this game should be good. Stillwater had their first test last week vs Yukon with Millers scoring on a pick 6 early, but then they buckled down and stopped the Millers the rest of the game. Choctaw Gold has yet to be really tested (except by their own sloppy play) they expected Edmond to do it but after a 21-0 in the 1st qtr   the game was out of reach and over really quick. This might be the test Choctaw needs to see if they can hang in the playoffs. This will most likely seal 1st place for D4 get your popcorn ready...Obviously going with GOLD here, can't wait for Saturday!

NORMAN TIMBERWOLVES @  EDMOND - I'm hoping T-wolves pull this one out. Smart pick is Edmond even with out their OC. # 6 and #2 are solid players and the OL gives enough time for the play to happen... watch out for #15 and that jet sweep/pass play it will get you if you break off too soon.

21 is doing good. Hate to see those types of things happen. Wish theyd be more strict on those calls but it is what is. Hopefully we avoid that this weekend on both sides.

Choctaw is a handful but we will do our best.  Hoping these storms hold off. 80% of thunderstorms Saturday in Stilly
