Sunday Shoutouts
« on: September 22, 2019, 02:55:13 pm »
Big Shoutout to Jenks Maroon for being good host and giving me VIP. Maroon is a pretty good ball team but a early turnover and offensive penalties hurt the trojans.

Shout out to the U-Silver "Hot Boys" not our best game but we found a way to get the "W" and thats all that matters. Shout out #24 with the big run. #56 I like what Im seeing. And our place kicker, salutes big fella.

I have a shoutout to the entire Stillwater youth football organization, specifically the 6th grade football coaches and players. They lost yesterday, but they didn’t play like it. Those boys played tough every play, never hung there heads down, and hustled on and off the field. At the end of the game, they shook our hands, looked every player and coach in the eyes, and told us good game and wished us good luck the rest of the year. You want to talk about character and integrity...that defines it right there. You want talk about contenders...that defines it right there. No pretenders there...no overrated there...not about individuals. Just pure love of the game and the team, and it starts with the parents and coaches. I don’t know what they are doing in Stillwater, but they are doing it right.

BB_984 Thank you for the kind words. We took over this program several years ago with the mind set of coaching these kids to be the best that they can be on and off the field. Our coaches are buying into that philosophy and we are headed in the right direction.  This 6th grade team fell apart with most of them going to the Enid league.  90% of this team has never played before. Even though they are 0-3 they are loving the game and getting better every week.  We have a couple kids with autism and they have really came out of their shell. I'm proud of their effort.  Personally, this year has taught me patience but I wouldn't trade them for the best in the INFC.

You guys have a talented group. Thank you for pulling back the reins and allowing our boys to get a couple good plays at the end. A true testament to your character. Bibxb Blue is in great hands !
