Grove can not beat the GEE unless the GEE want them too. Straight up! Grove is a solid team, but to say the capable of doing what they did to The Gee without assistance is ludicris.

Grove beat the Gee 20-0. The Gee was not disciplined enough. They killed themselves with turnovers. It was not the refs. You can not have 3 turn overs in a game when you get 4-5 possessions. That is part of the game. Athletes, coaches, execution, discipline. On top of that, Grove just made more plays.

The home field advantage card gets old. Less than perfect running of the clock, blown holding calls, lack of keeping an accurate playclock by the white hat... All teams face these same adversities whether traveling or not. Grove's home field is no better and no worse than anyone else. The volunteers and refs try to do a good job. No one is intentionally screwing anyone.
If anything Grove's criticism should be: Will they step up playoff time?
I'd argue Grove has been the best regular season team the last 3 years. No trophies for that though. Have to win em when it counts.

@Whodat if I know Raider... and I DONT except through is almost 1500! posts he's done on here (which I have only been around 1 season)

he's going to say you agreed with his statement. Gee LET Grove win.

The want and let are vague and truly are just statements of mentality that GEE didn't want it that day, if they WANTED to win they would have so if they didn't want it they must have WANTED Grove to win.

Its semantics and I'm sure he's going clap back because that's what he's good at (no disrespect meant in that at all).

You solidify the point in saying Gee wasn't disciplined, they had 3 turnovers when they only got the ball 4-5 times so they are GIVING the ball back. Is GEE better than GROVE? most would probably say YES over the past 6 seasons Muskogee has been better. Grove won that Saturday they WANTED IT MORE.

The truest statement comes down to what you said "Athletes, Coaches, Execution and Discipline" that's all you can hope for. Some teams have more Athletes, some better coaches, what group of 11/12yr olds is going to Execute or just stay Disciplined for 4 quarters.

as for the Refs... wish they were better at all levels of all sports they are about as accurate as weathermen in Oklahoma :). Besides like the bleacher coaches that know better than the Coaches, the Coaches could ref the game better every time too!! its the Circle of LIFE of football... now playoffs??? that's a whole different animal

Grove won! That’s how simple it is they won the match. But who dat go and watch the film put a stop watch on how much time the refs gave y’all to call a play once y’all scored first. It was close to 45 seconds, we argue with the refs about that the whole game. We sat there with phones counting it down. They only gave us about 20 seconds hurrying our play calling up.

Y’all needed that win a lot more than we did unfortunately cause of the events that had happen. But the Gee was faced with something a lot of teams haven’t experienced in this grade. To finish this season with only 1 lost after everything that had happened that was great within itself. We had no players to quit the team we had players still showing up to practice even when it was hard to motivate them because their goal had been taken away. Then we come to Grove where a ref tell one of my boys this is his field hush and play. The TD we scored and was called back do you know why it was called back? The ref on our sideline made a call that was on the total opposite side of field said our WR was lined up off the ball. Now if you watch that play you notice my QB look back at the coaches that was me telling him to wait so that all the WR was set and lined up before he ran the play, you also noticed everyone gets set and he then run the play. As soon as the ref saw the play was bout to be a TD he throw flag and say to many lined up in backfield. That was a momentum play that could have changed the game but instead it showed my boys what we was up against. Like I said you guys have the same refs at every game I’m sure the refs know your players by name. But I’m not blaming the refs for the lost y’all needed and wanted it more. Grove won!

YellowJacket please have a understanding that the INFC did y’all a favor because if they had even out all the teams throughout all 4 divisions Choctaw Gold would not be a 1 seed and probably not even in the playoffs. INFC is doing y’all west side teams a favor by putting all of you in one division allowing y’all to have at least 1 playoff game to keep y’all satisfied to stay in this league. I’ll prove my point to you, you do realize Jenks Silver is a legit 5 seed in D1 who beat the 2 seed in D4. Good luck with Bixby this weekend cause I imagine that 3 seed will beat y’all by 2 or more tds.

Ive said from the jump we didn't ask for any favors and I have no disillusionment of how stacked East side is... BIXBY is doing things right their WHOLE program from Mighty Mites to Friday Nights is doing things and I don't expect anything except they want nothing more than to beat us so they can make a run at the ship.

we haven't seen anything like what were going to see Saturday in discipline, I can see that on film.. Our hardest and most poorly ref'd games were against teams that lost out in 1st round. So maybe INFC did east a bit of a favor giving you guys "some easy rounders?" just another perspective of the same argument.  They have speed and some hitters and we will either be ready or we wont. It comes down to the 19 - 11/12yr olds we rely on and coach up to do the job. I always hope our boys show up and prove their place, if not we regroup and we take solace in the fact that in 7th when school ball starts they have already learned a system used in middle school and that the Friday guys use and they can build and be better each year.

If anything the league made things harder for some east side teams. Teams like union silver, BA silver, Bville etc. I have nothing against y’all team I actually enjoyed watching y’all own film. I enjoyed the game y’all are teaching the boys to get ready for school ball.

Grove wasn’t given anything. The Gee wanted that game. They came with a chip on their shoulders. And I don’t blame them.

Out of the 3 turnovers 2 were earned. (Punt debacle doesn’t count) Linebacker stick a kid hard and he coughed it up and a clean interception. Two TAKEaways one GIVEaway.

On second thought, they did have their 3 big boys run all the away around the field 3 times before the game. Those boys were gassed before the captains met. Lol maybe they did mail it in.

I feel for your kids man. I really do. I’m sorry they had to go through that. Everything happeneds for a reason. Maybe they come out hungry next year and have a special season.

I’d love to watch that film. It’d be the first film we’ve watched all year. Lol. Seriously though. I’ll hit you up. I’d love to have some film of the boys.

On that TD play I remember thinking it was illegal procedure before the snap. Not enough guys on the line. I hoped the ref would call it and was surprised when he did. The right call, a bit of luck for us that they actually saw it.

Bottom line, our town of 6,500 is hanging with the big boys. Hell, Broken Arrow High School has more kids than all of our buildings preK-12th combined.

Why are you still on here talking about TYAA WHITE? I knew they were the best team in the 6th grade divisions hands down, but y'all made sure you stole that from them. So why don't you let these others teams trying win, be in the spotlight. I know Clarence raw dogged some of you and left you with a bad taste in your mouth.  But spit it out and move on. We want to hear about football only.
