My way to early top 10

1. BA Black- Won the ship then got Octavian. How is that even possible. Should be fun to game plan for.

2. Glenpool- Never a bride always a bridesmaid. Is this the year the professor brings the goldball south of the creek turnpike? If he’s got Mr Mayo then he’s always got a chance to win it all.

3. Norman T wolves- My vote for best in the west, and I’m sure they improved. Well coached, great size and speed mix means they will be ready to compete for a ship

4. Jenks Maroon- Is speed important? I think so. This team will be hungry to get back to former glory. Heard they shook up the coaching staff somewhat. Could be that needed spark to regain the top dog or could fizzle. Will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

5. Bixby Red- Big Red got things back up to speed at the right time last year. I think they carry that momentum into this season with renewed purpose. Something tells me they will be making some noise this season.

6. Lincoln Christian- Easily could have been number 5 or possibly higher. I know we have been thumped by this squad twice in the last two years, and for good reason. #44 and 52 can go toe to toe with any ones two best lineman, and the QB play is second to none. I expect them to challenge all comers and be tough all season long.

7. Edmond Bulldogs- The end of the year was a little surprising but this team has been a tough squad year in and year out since 3rd grade. Someone said they went to three teams out in Edmond, so I assume they leaned out and can keep their starters on the field all game. Look for them to compete for top dawg in the west.

8. Bixby Blue- Can’t ever overlook the boys in blue. Every year so consistent, and they have a ton of talent. Defensively they don’t give up very many big plays so I expect them to be in every contest.

9. Union Silver- Now hear me out... this team has had studs that were always just a smidge too heavy to carry the ball, and they were still a tough competitor in every ball game. I think with the weight limit jumping up, they might shock a few teams before everyone jumps on this bandwagon. Let’s just say I consulted my crystal ball.

10. Jenks White- Semaj and Co had a bit of a down year in 19 but I see a bounce back in the cards for them. Their D is tenacious and they can roll with anyone. Anxious to see how their season plays out.

Honorable mentions
Piedmont
BA white
BA silver
McAlester

Good luck to all and all in fun
