Sunday Shoutouts
« on: October 26, 2020, 12:31:53 am »
How about those Owasso White boys showing everyone they can compete with anyone, and playing LC to a very tight game! Great job boys, definitely a huge confidence boost going into a critical “win and you’re in” matchup with Verdigris!  (Cards will correct me in the breakdowns if I’m wrong here!)

And Hilldale with a dominant performance over Collinsville!  Great work boys!

Definitely gotta show some love to my brothers on Jenks White!  Can’t wait till all these kids can join forces in 8th grade!  They will be a very solid and deep Jenks team at that point!  So many studs on that Jenks White squad!  Everyone knows about #22. He’s one of the very toughest competitors in all of this grade, and has always proven that every year and every week!  Complete package on both sides of the ball!  If there was an INFC All Star team, he would absolutely be a starter on both sides of the ball! They have several other studs too!  6, 7, 11, 12, 24, 63, and more. They all play hard, make big plays, and are great kids!!  Love those boys, and hated having to play them this week. Just didn’t feel right, and I’m glad it’s over!

Who else deserves some love this week fellas?!

Shoutout to Owasso White's #7 - thought he played a great game this weekend with lots of hustle and good sportsmanship on the field.  Blocking next level when on offense and doing a great job flying around to the football on defense.  Nice job Jake!

Thanks coach!  We are very proud of the way our boys played this past weekend.

Collinsville had players all over the field. #56 was a handful and it was pretty awesome to watch film and see him battling it out with our big boy. Great match up all night. #4 never gave up on a play no matter the score and that kid has some wheels. #12, #11, #9, #24, & #7 were all gamers as well.

Thanks LCS his dad is Coach Miyagi so I'm sure he will show his son. I thought he took his game to another level and so did a few of our boys.

Shoutout to #44 he lived up to his hype and then some! We tried to double him all game and he still made some huge plays with a forced fumble and a few TFL's.  #52 was an absolute beast out there on the DL, just all over the place.  Impossible to block both of those guys on every down and when you do #99 is beating his man. #23 is a stud and he was locked down on D all day.  Had an amazing INT nullified by a penalty but it was an amazing catch anyway. #1 runs that offense like a rolex, very rarely off schedule.  Kid can ball out running and throwing as well as get stuck in at the LB position. Can punt the ball dang near 40yds in the air as well.  LC DOES NOT HAVE HOLES...

My main shoutout is to #6 on LC.  Kid is somewhat unheralded and doesn't get the pub on the forums, but man he is in there in the mix every play.  Blocks his butt off in the run game, plays strong out at corner, and when his number gets called he runs those routes from the upback so elusively.  All it took was one mistake and boom, there he goes.

Shoutout to #13, the RB (utility player), from Piedmont. I'm pretty sure that kid single-handedly scored most of their 40 points. While both teams struggled on defense (obviously), Edmond really couldn't stop him.
