Here’s the thing, the infc, which is ran through the Tulsa, couldn’t care less about any teams from the West side.
Edmond has literally shut the scoreboard off on every single team they’ve played before the 4th quarter begins and yet they might not get home field advantage if they make it to the semifinals, because that’s how the bracket is set up?! That’s fair, right?
FINALLY, someone from the West has a legit shot at turning the tide and the folks from Tulsa will do everything in their power to make sure it doesn’t happen.

I’m sick of parents & coaches griping about how the bracket was set up in every grade.  No matter how they do it, someone isn’t going to be happy. But for those of you who are new or just show up to watch you’re kid, it’s done the same way every year. Sometimes it falls in your favor, sometimes it doesn’t. Turn off your computer or set down your phone, lace up your cleats & play ball.

You are correct, this is a conspiracy by Tulsa area adults to make sure grade school children who live outside of Tulsa cannot win a championship because we all know how much this matters when they get to high school

Nasty go hang out in the other grades. You’re not the only one who thinks you’re not getting a fair shake. But some think it’s all about catering to the West for their money. The East $ is here to stay. Once you’re here for longer than a minute you’ll learn some years you get lucky, some you don’t. Prove how good you are on the field. Don’t forget to post your scores.

Serious question here. There have been rumors that a ton of the kids on the Edmond team have been held back. If this is actually true, I would expect them to shut the score board off on a lot of teams? That extra year makes a difference for boys this age.
If it’s not true, and purely rumor. Ignore me. Not trying to make waves just a legitimate question.

Maybe they identify as 11 and 12 year olds, instead of farm animals.

Looks like I hit a nerve with the East siders! I get it fellas, Tulsa schools have dominated this state since MWC won it all in the mid 90’s.
You guys are cocky and rightfully so! I’m just calling like I see it and yes, I’ll post those scores after the game whether it’s win or a loss.
I love competition and you guys should love that there’s finally another team stepping up their game and challenging some of your power house programs.
Edmond hasn’t played in 2 weeks and I’m certain the coaches/players are chomping at the bit. Sorry if you guys can’t understand why some are a little irritated.

Clown, it’s called addition by subtraction. Most of those kids from 3rd and 4th grade are not playing football anymore and the ones that stayed through those tough seasons, are much improved.
