Def not happening.  The Championship game will still be next Sat.

TYAA did not agree to move the game, they denied Bixby's request. The INFC was eventually forced to move the game due to lack of referees from HS games that were moved from friday to thursday.

Let’s admit the obvious…..Bixby HS plays Jenks HS Thursday night on a National stage( ESPN).  That’s the real reason the game was moved.

Sleep Doc you need to take your 3 posts and go back to the Forum bench and just watch from there.

Something hit a little too close to home.   It’s called the truth.

A lot of these games are dependent on field availability and with the games being moved  for the high schools and Friday being out due to weather it’s hard fit for the games with the deadline for the last playoff games being dead set

That’s a good point however the TYAA vs Bixby White was scheduled to be played at Booker T.   Booker T is on the road this week so field availability is not the issue.

I got all my ducks in a row as you can see there aren't any Jenks games Thursday

Are you a coach or volunteer on your board or just a parent that thinks they know how everything works?

I’m not on here to make anybody upset.  I’m just saying the change is because of the Bixby/Jenks high school game.  Which puts some teams at a disadvantage, specifically TYAA and Bixby White.  The possibility of 4 games in 8 days is daunting!   No reason to get so offended.

Not to throw gas on the fire but the TYAA vs Bixby game was originally being played at O Brien field in N. Tulsa not BTW which would make one to believe that the ref availability was probably the issue

Referees can't be the issue.  They are letting any Tom, Richard or Harry officiate this year. I've been in youth football for 13yrs. This is absolutely the worst year for officials.

I can absolutely guarantee it was moved because of referee availability. Bixby definitely didn't want to play on thursday because of the ESPN thing, but that request was declined earlier in the week.

You've gotta be kidding us right?  Maybe the reason they are having to rely on Tom, Richard and Harry is because no one wants to ref anymore because they get so vilified every game? You should def give Bobby Kelly and call and become a referee since its so bad.  They def need more as you have pointed out.

Couldn't agree more, you couldn't pay me enough to ref any youth sport. They get yelled at for hours straight, threatened and no decision they make is ever correct.

Here’s the thing, the infc, which is ran through the Tulsa, couldn’t care less about any teams from the West side.
Edmond has literally shut the scoreboard off on every single team they’ve played before the 4th quarter begins and yet they might not get home field advantage if they make it to the semifinals, because that’s how the bracket is set up?! That’s fair, right?
FINALLY, someone from the West has a legit shot at turning the tide and the folks from Tulsa will do everything in their power to make sure it doesn’t happen.
