D1 looks really stack! Division 4 don’t have one playoff team. Why not just take 9AA teams and spread them out through the A division. Put all the OKC teams in AA this year. The way it’s setup INFC is automatically giving 3 teams down that way a playoff birth.

Div 1 seems to be the toughest on paper by far!
@ HB, I quess they are trying to cut down on travel, but still it ain't fair that 3 west team gets to walk into the playoffs. If I were any team other than TYAA White or Muskogee, I be pissed. that's some straight up BS

@Honeybadger. Two teams in division 4 asked for AA. We will see if it happens. I know several AA teams that would compete in A this year if they moved up.  I don’t think Norman TW won but a couple games the past few years. (I could be wrong). Those teams need to be placed in AA. It gives the kids an opportunity to play at a level more appropriate for them.  No need to travel two hours to get slaughtered 35-0.  Build confidence. Just my two cents.  I personally felt since my boys went to semi finals in AA last year they were ready to move up so that other teams could work on building their kids in AA.  I think that if you make it to playoffs then move up to see what your boys can do.

@CEFHCL I totally agree with you. I think it’s a few teams in AA who could hold their own in the A Division. I also feel like the teams out west should be put in AA just to get a feel for the league. I know one of the Choctaw teams did ok last season maybe they should stay in A divison. This is what gets me you are giving 3 teams out west a automatic playoff bid that means 2 teams will have to travel out west for a playoff game possibly during the weekday. Who is to say with all the teams out west that they are going to follow the INFC rules, then we travel down to play them in playoffs and find out they haven’t been going by the same rules. Bring 8 teams up from AA and send 8 teams from the west to AA.

I like that they put all the teams from the West into the same Division, but I agree with HB, that’s not going to work for teams to travel 2 hours to play on a weekday in the playoffs.

The divisions I think will surprise a few people this year. I know in division one there are a couple teams that have lost their best player and they really will hurt without them. Some key players are missing in other divisions as well. Then some teams have added some good talent that they are keeping secret so it should be interesting, can’t wait for this season to kick off at the scrimmages. Good luck everyone and looks like the Indians will be out there with their full core and a couple additions. See everyone at the scrimmages!

I think they will be fine as far as knowing the rules. I know when we all met (west teams) to discuss recruiting the West side of the state there was some good guys helping these new clubs. We are stuck in the middle as far as distance between Tulsa and OKC. We will do our best to make playoffs to save you guys some travel time!  In all seriousness hopefully they figure it out. I’d rather travel to play someone else then play a team in the same town.
