Last year of doing these so getting it started early!
D1
All non division games this week. West side had a pretty good showing going 6-1, with the Huskies having a week 1 bye.. Norman, Piedmont, and Choctaw all had dominating wins, while the Bulldogs, Yukon, and Westmoore all notched 1 score victories. Ed-Wolves were the lone loss by a score of 7-0. Division play doesn't kick off until week 3, but there are a few intriguing east vs west matchups on the agenda for week 2. Will Edmond get another scare from a AA squad? The Huskies kick their season off by hosting Bixby Red, while Yukon travels to Metro in a battle of 1-0's.
D2
Division play got underway opening week for everyone but U-Black, who after some scheduling issues, ended up losing a nail biter to SS. 3 teams (BA Black/White, JM) maxed their marginal points opening week, while Big Red maintained pace with their 2 put win over BXBB in the Bixby bowl. They take a minor break from division play, before gearing up for JM week 3! In my opinion, this is going to be the most fun division to watch play out! So many playoff contenders. The last 3 champs. No off weeks! Only negative is there's no gameday film to watch these slobber knockers. Week 2 brings the ultimate battle of BA, Maroon @ Blue Sparty, and an elimination game between Mac and O-Black. Buckle up!
1. BA Black 1-0 +8
1. Jenks Maroon 1-0 +8
1. BA White 1-0 +8
Bixby Red 1-0 +2
Union Black 0-0 0
Bixby Blue 0-1 -2

D3
With 10 teams, every week will be division play in D3. It appears there will be the 3 favorites (G'pool, LC, O-White), all playoff teams from a season ago, who coincidentally all maxed out on their marginal points opening week by shutting off the scoreboards early. Arguably 3 of the top 5-6 teams in the grade. Verdigris and Muskogee served me up two L's in the pickems with impressive one point victories on the road to keep pace in the win column. Coweta and BA Silver were on the losing end of those 1 point contests. BK, U-Silver, and Jenks Black had tough first games, but everything is in front of them and will be fine tuning things before the next outing. An early elimination game on the slate for week 2, while the Gee aim to take down two straight playoff teams in as many weeks. Upsets could be few and far between in this division, but that's why you play the game!
1. Glenpool 1-0 +8
1. Lincoln Christian 1-0 +8
1. Owasso White 1-0 +8
Muskogee 1-0 +1
Verdigris 1-0 +1
Coweta 0-1 -1
BA Silver 0-1 -1
Jenks Black 0-1 -8
Bishop Kelley 0-1 -8
Union Silver 0-1 -8

AA1
All non division games this week. Some really good ones at that. 5 of the 6 week 1 games were low scoring affairs, decided by a combined 30 points, with Choctaw Blue's loss to Piedmont being the only one sided game. AA1 came out on top in 4 of those games (SS, BA Plat, B'Hill, Stilly). Norman was blanked 7-0. Every week there will be travel on the highway as half the teams are east siders, while the other half is west side. I foresee the 4 week 1 winners playing for the 3 playoff spots in this division. Choctaw blue is the B team with Gold stacking the A squad, and I'm not a fan of anything Norman lol.
AA2
All non division games this week. Hilldale, Claremore, and Metro all start 1-0, with the defenses getting opening week shutouts. BA Chrome and Collinsville had tough goings against the west side, while Seqouyah and O-Red lost to two AA contenders. A good mix of teams. Some better offensively, others better defensively. Matchups will be key in some of these games within the division. Chrome and Hilldale are my early favorites. Should know a little more about others after this next week. Division play kick off week 3.
AA3
All non division games this week. A lot of close, competitive ballgames, but Ft Gibson was the only team to pick up a week 1 win as they rolled 35-0. Catoosa and Sapulpa had 5, and 6 point losses respectively to D1 contenders. Metro took Stilly to the wire as they were a wide right from being 1-0. South Tulsa, Bartlesville, and Skiatook were all shut out, albeit in close, competitive ballgames. The consensus is Ft Gibson is really good, which probably makes them the favorites. Sapulpa made a huge statement by almost taking down Edmond. Arguably the deepest AA division.
