Crack Back Blocking

I could be wrong but I thought Crack Back Blocking on a DE or LB was not aloud? Can someone clarify this for me?

I didnt think it was allowed either. The blocker has to lead with his hands is what they told us at coaches meeting.

It's aloud as long as you lead with your hands and not shoulder pad.
