Top 10 (or so) A Ball
« on: October 21, 2020, 03:07:54 pm »
Since Coach12 asked... Here are the top 15 teams. These are ranked by total record, then total points minus points allowed. Includes non-conference games.
Not my opinion of the top 10, but would be pretty close. Sorry, I don't have stats on AA.

1    D-3   7-0 Lincoln Christian  236/19
2    D-1   7-0 Norman Twolves  176/0
3    D-3   6-1 Glenpool  228/42
4    D-2   6-1 Jenks Maroon  193/29
5    D-2   6-1 BA Black  169/55
6    D-1   6-1 Piedmont  147/41
7    D-3   5-2 Owasso Wht  201/73
8    D-2   5-2 Jenks White  195/102
9    D-1   5-2 Edmond Bulldogs  141/84
10   D-2   5-2 Bixby Red  111/61
11   D-3   5-2 Verdigris  134/93
12   D-1   5-2 Yukon  94/57
13   D-2   4-3 Bixby Blue  109/71
14   D-2   4-3 BA White  109/100
15   D-1   4-3 Westmoore  108/93

Who wants to give their top 10 picks from this? All great teams IMO.

Looks like a pretty good snapshot of the league.  How did you tally the points scored and agianst? INFC website?

1. Lc Grown man league with studs all over the field I don't see any weakness on this team at all. I think the only thing you can do against them is bleed the clock and force them to get subs in but subs are still pretty solid players.
2. Norman is not scored on and they look very good.
3. Glenpool best back in the league by a lot.
4. Jenks M Defense is super solid and they went back to the I and it's just a different team than at the start of the year.
5. Ba Black Sucks losing your coach mid-season but they have done a good job keeping it together just need to clean it up and have a shot to win it all.

In my opinion, the only teams that have a real shot of winning the championship.

For D3 I keep a record based on coaches post, but for D1 and D2 I used the INFC site, which may not be 100% accurate.

Only teams with a shot? Didn’t Bixby Red beat Maroon and played BA black to a 0-6 game?

Just my opinion. I don’t think Bixby has the offense to compete for the title. Defense has always been good but offense struggles. They didn’t even score vs bixby blue/jenks white or ba

That’s a fair analysis
45, 74, and 11 are all back this week.  So Red will have the opportunity to try and earn it on the field.

I can't argue, although we have an opportunity to earn a seat at the big boy table this weekend.  Looking forward to it!
