Week 2 Scrimmages
« on: August 20, 2022, 01:34:33 pm »
Well 2nd week of scrimmages letís hear what you got!!

Catoosa- good size and speed. Got a stud at RB breaking tackles and using that stiff arm. If he can get some space he will be taking it to the house, may be close on weight tho.

Owasso white- didnít seen much, but the couple plays I watched there QB has an arm!

Skiatook- good size up front and physical

Grove- good hard physical ball with these boys! Defense is solid!

Bixby white- I believe they got bixby blues RB not much size but once they get it going theyíll be competing very soon!

Glenpoolís defense looked good today. Lots of good athletes on this team with phenomenal instincts. #8 is easily one of the best players in the grade. Love watching Ryver play corner too.

Canít wait to get the season underway next week. Hereís to a healthy season for all these kids this year.

Sand Springs Gold have some good schemes on offense. They will continue to improve.

Bixby Blue has nice size on D line that are hard to block. LBís are fast and safety will fly to the ball.

Bishop Kelly has a nice air raid going on offense. Beat us a few times.

Muskogee brings the house on Defense. They are tough!  Gonna be different for them without coaches on the field and more officials to make calls.

We are still a work in progress!!!

8pm BA session

Claremore: have nice size and good speed on defense. Not afraid to come up and hit you. Offense, seemed like they were mainly trying to work on a few specific things/plays but should be a solid team

Union black: maybe one of the best running backs in the grade. They will make some noise and be fun to watch

Berryhill: I think it was #10 but the kid was super quick and seemed like once he was in the open, nobody was catching him. Very very physical on the defensive side of the ball and flying around everywhere.

Jenks Maroon: good size and very physical. I didnít get to see much of them but what I did see was pretty solid.

Coweta Black: new style offense this year, lots of playmakers. Probably one of the more sound, physical and disciplined defensive teams in the grade and I could see them being able to play with anybody. They will come up and hit you in the mouth from every position. Should be another great year for the tigers

BA White: donít know much about them, but they seemed to play pretty well at the end against coweta. They are big and physical too, but didnít notice a bunch of speed out there. They have some good things going on over there.

Ready to get this season underway and see how everyone stacks up in their respective divisions. Good luck to all teams!

Claremore: number 12 on offense and defense is a beast. Heís got some wheels and also likes to head hunt. Fun to watch.

Coweta black: going to be a great team this year, whole team seems solid.

Teams I saw Saturday...

Owasso Black...  Good size, alignment is a work in progress.

BA silver... Great size, and got some kids that can tackle...Can they do it without 9 in the box??   Big, tall outside linebacker was a nice add.

Union Silver... Looked big and fast. little sloppy on offense still.

Wagoner... Hustled, keep working.

Bixby Red... Offensive scheme may give teams fits, gonna have to tackle.

Berryhill... Good size, got tough kids on both sides of the ball. RB can go!

Coweta black... Contender, They're tough and well coached.

Union Black...  Athletes, If rb gets space he's gone!!

Claremore... got a stud, but need more pieces.

Jenks Maroon... Will win some ballgames, rb can get loose.  Looked to be in mid season form.

Bixby white... surprised me a bit, Have some playmakers on defense.

Lets talk about the real winner, Broken arrow football.  5 fields, $5 a head. Place was swarming with people.  Hundreds of cars overflowed the parking lot.  Great Host, Great job!

I think Bixby white got a couple of blues players from last year. They are AA
