Raider.  Savages take the title.  Won 19-0 over the Outlaws.   Shut every team out.      Well it was a fun season.   See you all in June.

As a parent I am disgusted by actions or lack of by Sooner Classic board.  As a team we drove down from OKC to Tulsa only to be told on Sat. night that our team was being
disqualified, because we received a "bye".  The brackets were posted Friday for EVERYONE to se....  Is this how tournaments are ran in the Tulsa metro??

Here is the quote from league president:

"Hi Coach we are going to refund your money, these other teams are threatening to pull out and have problems with the bye and no played games on Saturday"

We did not set the brackets! The Sooner Classic Org offered to accommodate our schedule of ONLY being able to participate on Sunday.  If that was a problem, they should not have taken our $$ and allowed us to enter, that simple..  Does their refund include our travel and hotel expenses.. I assume NOT..  Also not to be overlooked is the unparalleled level of intentional bias... The person who's team won the tourney, just by coincidence was the person who happen to set the bracket and benefited from the forfeit the most... REALLY????  Are you kidding me Tulsa... Bush league at it's best!  How is that not a conflict of interest.  I would be willing to bet that if both Kevin and Mark had teams or kids in this tourney, they all ended up champions...PLEASE correct me if that is not the case.

@coach taylor, Be careful about that bush league talk. This conference is top self as you can see by the high school strangle hold that  our area teams have on the state. However, if what you say is correct then it appears to me that you have a case to blast the Sooner classic however you feel but understand the Sooner Classic is a independent tourney and our boys from the INFC play ball. Not that age stuff where your can kids play in a lower grade. Not that BS where there's no weight limit. If you think your boys can compete with the east schools...join the INFC and let's see what it do!!. It's fair to say that whatever league your in... it isn't producing state champions. I don't speak for the Sooner Classic but i will say INFC is the best thing going in the state. Which is why the East is on top.
