  • Making Champions on and off the field!
Preseason AA OCD5
« on: August 06, 2018, 01:04:34 pm »
Week of scrimmages no games played so Preseason AA Rankings until after Week 2...Try to piece some season rankings in there then.

#1 Metro: Have to be placed here. Metro is always well coached and they did some damage last year in A so def the front runner for AA this year. Sounds like they got a top Athlete from their 6th grade too. Coach says no Stripers which means SPEED on the field all the time.
#2 Stillwater: Was hard to choose to put here btw them and Sap. They beat Sap head to head but Sap played the Champs better. But it was later in the season and I'm sure Stilly got better over time also. Seen them up close last year and they have some athletes and size. Very aggressive on defense also!
#3 Sapulpa: Like stated hard between Stilly and them. Sap lost to the Champs in playoffs. (idk score). Rememeber seeing them last year also. Very physical and has some speed!
#4 Collinsville: They did lose head to head with #5 but here is my thinking. They could easily be #2 or 3. Don't know what the tie score was but they lost in a tie to the Champs towards end of season. Lost in a tie with Stilly also! I see development in that fact. So I'm sure coach will steady be building with these boys this year!
#5 Berryhill: One out last year. Played Hilldale tough!! Only team to score more than 1 TD on them and that says something! Seen them but don't remember much about them.

Now there is a lot of questions in this AA. Nobody knows what Checotah is going to bring! I know they have had some decent teams over the years over there so we'll see.
Verdy is new also but always produce athletes!
One Bville team? Well one went to A playoffs so IDK. I doubt that the INFC or Bville Pres would let them go AA if they didn't need to though.
A teams coming down?? Can't really gauge them because A is a whole nother animal then AA...Heard Claremore has a beast at DE!

With 4 of my top 5 in AA2 I would give them toughest Div out of the 2 as of right now!

Some of you with more knowledge than me on these teams give your top 5 and all around opinions please sirs!

Here are my 2 cents

#1 Metro: This is a tough one for me, we scrimmaged Metro and played Sapulpa twice. Sapulpa handed us our only loss but i will give Metro the nod because they played in A last year and only lost to Bixby red and a good Glenpool team in the playoffs.
#2 Sapulpa: well coached good players and I think they will be building off of a solid year last year.
#3 Stillwater: They definitely got better as the season went along. They have a lot of potential
#4 Collinsville: Good coach and strong players. they had a huge turn around from 3rd grade, tough defense if they fine tune that offense watch out
#5 Berryhill: Always tough, They had an injury to a key player last year that hurt their season (most of their TD against hilldale were on KR, crazy game)
#6 Pryor: they have the athletes and made maybe the most progression last year. I think they will shock some teams
#7 Sequoyah: Nice Coaches, great environment to play at. I think last year they were trying to figure out their identity.

The other teams I dont know anything about. Bartelsville intrigues me, if Coach Joey is running the team then I expect them to be up there in the top teams. All the other schools it will be fun to see how they compete.

Bartlesville will be a really good team! They are well coached and have one of the best DT in INFC!
