Jk07…Edmond averaged 30 pts per game while allowing an average of 3 pts per game. This team is littered with first year players, along with some multi-sport studs. To assume Glenpool would beat them is silly! It took an absolute busted play with 2 seconds left for Silver to put points up.
I can guarantee you that Jenks respects those Edmond kids, #9 took a beating, he’s a tough and talented kid.
@hellonasty we’ve played Jenks a few times over the years. What I think jk07 is saying is based on the fact they played both of us with in 4 days. Both teams are good, but Edmond only crossed the 50 yard line one, maybe two times. Glenpool scored and had em a little nervous.
No doubt y’all got some players. The thing is you can’t use the new player excuse. We, Glenpool, lost 4 of our starting lineman. One was arguably the best offensive/defensive lineman in the league. The one returning starter is a 4th grader. We took on 9 brand new players of our 21 total players.
Point is the teams that deserved to be there were. The semis could’ve went different but they didn’t. Congrats to both teams for making it.
