Let me start this with I don’t have all of the information as to what is going on at the infc level but since this thread is about rumors I want to address the false information. All of Lincoln’s kids are in 5th grade with the exception of a 4th grader that had to play up because of weight. One new player this year did not register with USA football as he came to practice late and most likely missed the communication about registering. The other two players are not new to Lincoln this year and it was most likely an oversight by the parents to register. These are all good kids in 5th grade that are heartbroken that they don’t get to play when they did nothing wrong. The play count issue in 6th grade is the reason 6th grade lc is out of the championship. Again not the kids fault and that’s the thing that sucks the most for those kids. I know those coaches and they have 26-28 players so it’s not an excuse but I know it’s difficult to keep track of that many kids plays. To my knowledge no one is pushing back in the play count. For 5th grade football it’s simply an oversight of USA football registration which is to be done by the parents. Our full roster with submitted and accepted to infc at the beginning of the season. Hope this helps provide some clarity.  I know infc will have official information on what they took into consideration with this unfortunate situation with what they decided but from a parents perspective regardless of team it’s the kids that suffer the most in this. Based on the comments here it’s not anything that manipulated a kids age to get a competitive advantage to play. Hope that helps

It’s a shame that we have so many butt hurt men. To stoop so low to hurt kids! Many years TYAA have protested about teams not being in compliance and not one time were there any investigations. Why weren’t the roosters validated against the janky website? I pray these kids have some strong mommas because I’ve never seen so many weak men. These are kids!

Sportabase is where kids are registered, not USA football.

Sorry yes sportbase is what I meant.  That’s what the action of the infc was based on. For anything else alleged I’m sure infc will look into it and Lincoln will provide whatever is requested. I can’t speak to those things just what I know for me and my kid. I believe Lincoln is a great organization and my experience is they recognize it’s a privilege to play in the infc and they are not ones to take advantage of that privilege. I’ve enjoyed reading all of the banter on the forum and seeing how much everyone enjoys the game of football. With that comes smack talk and burritos but I hope it’s all in good fun. The bigger picture is the kids and learning to play as a team. The experience that comes with football can last a lifetime. I hope we win the championship but win or lose tomorrow I’m proud of our boys and how they have grown this year. I personally have a lot of respect for all the teams we have played and I know there are good coaches trying to do what we are doing and that’s investing in the next generation. Hopefully we can all agree on that and let the infc and Lincoln administration do their due diligence on anything else.

I had a wise man once tell me "Remember the golden rule Ty" as to him I responded "do unto others as you would have done to you"..and he responded that is the Biblical golden rule but the Worldly Golden rule is "those with the Gold makes the rules!!" As I become older I see that he was more wise than even I understood at that time. I feel bad for Coach Wolf from what I know of him he is a good dude.

Truer words have never been spoken. Coach Wolf is a good dude and he’s got my utmost respect. I know he’s taking this in stride and will come back better for it. No matter what has transpired I know for a fact he eats breathes and lives for teaching young men the game of football. Hopefully tomorrow is a great game and both teams play to the best of their abilities. I’ll be in the stands with popcorn ready.

I’ve been hunting and enjoying my time off and don’t really give 2 💩 at this point but what would squash all the bull crap would be each kid be issued an id before the season to wear at weigh ins. There are so many ways to cheat and unfortunately some may consider that “winning at all costs”... For example: suit some other kid up wearing so and so’s jersey whether older or younger etc...My 7th grader would fit right in, until he smacked someone...  I heard rumors about Yukon adding players for the playoffs but it’s not my side of the state or my job to play “vote counter”... Believe this... if the Dems can rig an election, you can rig a football team.... best of luck to whoever plays Tomorrow... and if the INFC can’t figure it out, I guess Bartlesville is still the Champs kinda like Trump is still YOUR President 💪🏽

This was a good read in the 6th forum I’m just copying and pasting

It is true that every player & coach must register in Sportabase. This is stated in the rulebook twice: Once in Section 3; Article 7 (Page 3) & once again in Section 12; Article 1 (Page 2).

When it comes to this violation of the rules, one must refer to Section 10 titled Rule Violations. Article 1 expressly lays out actions that the INFC Commission can take against "an organization, coach, parent, or player" to include one or more of the following - fine, forfeiture of game or games, suspension of coaches or individuals within an organization, probation, any action deemed appropriate by majority vote of the Commission including the permanent removal from the INFC.

In this case, with the unregistered players for Lincoln, it sounds like they received a fine & the coaches/players not registered are not allowed to participate in tomorrow's game. This is well in line with Section 10 of the rulebook when it comes to levying penalties against an organization, coach, player, parent, etc.

There was also mention about the the 6th grade team & why they had to forfeit & why the teams with unregistered players did not. Once again, let's refer to the rulebook Section 12; Article 2 which lays out the minimum playing time rules for each respective grade (3rd-7th). Continue on into Section 12 to Article 6 & one sees that it expressly says that if a coach is in violation of the participation rule, the game will be ruled a forfeit.

Although there were violations of the rules, they are not one in the same in this case. When it comes to participation rules, the rulebook clearly lays out that penalty. In the case of the unregistered player violations, that is laid out in Section 10 & gives the Commission multiple options.

It's not a "good ole boy system" like many would like to allude to.

LC's team is talented and whipped our rear-ends.  I am not one to try to backdoor my way into a championship game but rules are rules so my two cents are:

If a team played with three ineligible players, to me, that is an issue which needs to be addressed.  Like someone said earlier, if those three kids are of age and grade then not much of an issue for me.

If the three players sit out of the Yukon game and LC still wins by a ton ... probably a non-issue other than the simple fact of some rules not being followed (fine, slap on the wrist)

If the three players sit out the Yukon game and Yukon wins then BA Black and Edmond probably have some well-earned heartburn about that as those three teams are fairly similar

Rambo, not sure who your with but Yukon got to the ship by beating some REALLY great teams this year. Bartlesville blue who in my opinion is the best coached team in this grade. Bixby white 2xs who has the best defense we saw all year and an Edmond Bulldogs team that could hang w anyone. Thats how we got here. No we didn't win it but least we weren't on the couch watching it from home. My  22 kids fought their asses off to get to the ship. We help LC to their lowest points of the year and had to deal w the east side officials.. I can agree that #11 is the best player in this league and any other league I've ever been apart of.
