Another exciting slate of games this week!

D1
Owasso White 6-0 @ Glenpool 6-0 - My second overall game of the week. First place in D1 on the line and the ultimate battle of qb sneaks will be on display in this one! Did anyone predict O-White to be sitting at 6-0 and playoff bound? These Rams are flying high as they get their toughest test yet as they make the trip to undefeated Glenpool. Their defense has played great, and will need their best performance yet, as the Warriors offense is lethal and are in the top 5 in points scored. I expect both defenses to show up in a hard hitting fairly low scoring game. I really like and respect what both teams have accomplished up to this point. I will secretly be pulling for O-White to get this one, but I gotta go GLENPOOL 20-12.

Skiatook 1-5 @ Bixby Red 3-1 - Man I dk the exact number of kick sixes #14 has had for Skiatook but its atleast 3. His latest against Glenpool made it a 12-6 game before the G-men poured it on. He'll have atleast 6-7 opportunites to do so in this game as I see Big Red scoring at will. But I do think he gets another one! BIXBY RED

Union Red 2-3 @ Bartlesville 0-6 - Bartlesville keep workin!! U-Red has already doubled its win total from a season ago and should be able to triple it after Saturday. UNION RED

Claremore 2-4 @ Coweta Black 2-4 - This will have a good rb matchup with #1 and #23 going at it. Coweta went from a #1 seed a year ago, to PST bound. No doubt they have some talent though.. The Zebras last 1/3 of the season pits them against Coweta, Glenpool, and Bixby Red. I didn't peg them to be 2-7 this year.. Very well could happen. COWETA BLACK by 2-3 scores.

BA Platinum 3-3 @ McAlester 3-3 - Good non division game. You got the 4th place team in D2 vs the 5 in D1. Mac's 3 losses are to the 3 teams that'll be representing D2 in the playoffs. Plat is in a similar situation.. BA will rely on their defense to slow down the Buffaloes spread attack. Had they been able to catch a couple of those deep passes (just missed em), they very well coulda been up 14-0 early on Jenks White. I definitely could see Platinum winning, but I'm going with the home team to put up some points this week. McALESTER

D2
BA Black 5-0 @ Tyaa Blue 5-1 - This is my honorable mention for game of the week. The 'Mission' is still on for Tyaa as they plan on throwing a wrench in BA's quest for the gold ball. A loss here assures the bluedawgs of the #3 seed, and a potential first rd matchup with the reddawgs? Yes please. BA Black looks forward to the challenge and shows us all why they will be playing for it all in about a month. BA BLACK

Wagoner 2-4 @ BA Silver 0-6 - Silver is one of 4 teams to be held scoreless through 6 games. Wagoners defense doesnt want to be the first ones to allow that to happen. They had a rough time with Catoosa, but shouldn't have any trouble with BA. WAGONER

Hilldale 1-5 @ Jenks White 6-0 - I have empathy for what the Hornets are going through. However, the scoreboard may not reflect it, I know every week they're getting better. They won't lie down for Jenks, but it will be tough. The 6-0 Trojans are on a collision course with BA Black week 9, but its 1 game at a time.. JENKS WHITE

Union Black 2-4 @ Owasso Red 2-4 - Toss up game. Will Union be able to get to the edge and use their speed, or can Owasso wreak havoc and pound em up the gut. I'm hoping U-Black has gotten into basketball mode so I'm taking OWASSO RED in a close one.

D3
BA White 5-0 @ Tyaa Red 5-0 - My overall game of the week includes two unbeatens who have only allowed 3 scores in 10 combined games. The winner will be sitting comfortable as the #1 seed, and likely will finish the regular season undefeated.. No easy task in this grade.. These two met rd 2 of the playoffs with Tyaa knocking BA out 13-0.. It seems that power has shifted a little. I think BA is the favorite this year, albeit not by much.. I'll take the 'underdog' at home! TYAA RED

Muskogee 0-5 @ Bishop Kelley 2-4 - Muskogee has lost 14 in a row dating back to the beginning of the 11 man era. BK on the other hand, has been a formidable opponent for most. Easy pick. BK makes it 15 straight for the Gee. BISHOP KELLEY

Catoosa 4-2 @ Owasso Black 2-3 - After a week 1 win, O-Black has dropped 3 of their last 4 with the 1 win over Muskogee. I expect them to finish the year strong. I think the only shot Catoosa still has is to win out and hope Pryor can beat U-Silver next week. I know where someone will be Wednesday evening! They do their part this week as they win comfortably. CATOOSA

Pryor 2-4 @ Sand Springs Black 1-5 - These two are division mates for the second year in a row. SS clubs sit at 1-11 after having atleast 1 very competitive team the first 3 years. SS got the best of Pryor a year ago. 13-0, but I think Pryor flips the script this year with their gritty defense and shuts out SS. PRYOR

Union Silver- BYE

D4
Jenks Maroon 6-0 @ Choctaw Blue 4-2 - This game has lost a little fizz with Choctaw dropping their last two, but nonetheless still an important game for both. For Choctaw, they have no margin for error, as another loss eliminates them. Finishing with the Twolves and Edmond, Jenks knows that an L here would be no bueno. Choctaws defense is stout, but it's not built to defend the speed of the Trojans. JENKS MAROON by 3-4 td's.

Stillwater 4-2 @ Norman Twolves 5-1 - Twolves comes off a gut check 1 point win over Edmond.. Down 12-7, offense made just enough plays to go up 13-12 then both defenses locked down and didn't budge. PAT's are huge!! They have no more time to celebrate as we prepare for another mini bedlam. Don't count Stillwater out just yet at 4-2. They did what Norman couldn't do, and that's score on Choctaw Blue.. It was 13-0 before Choctaw finally scored with 3 min left in the game. But the same could be said about the Edmond game comparisons. Setting the stage for next week, NORMAN TWOLVES by 12..

Choctaw Gold 2-4 @ Edmond 4-2 - Choctaw has dropped 2 straight after a 2-2 start. Their last two games will be winnable games. Unfortunately this week, they get a ticked off Edmond team. They aren't accustomed to losing much. PAT's are the devil! Their backs are against the wall and need to reel off 3 straight W's to be in contention for a playoff spot. They start off on the right foot and get the job done this week. EDMOND

Norman 0-6 @ Sand Springs Gold 0-6 - One of these two will earn their first victory of the year this weekend. Hopefully they'll both be able to get the ball in the endzone. Will be hard earned after playing in this division. I'll take SAND SPRINGS GOLD

Bixby Blue 4-2 @ Sapulpa 1-5 - All Bixby needs to do is continue to win. Choctaw Blue is their most difficult game remaining. Sapulpa will play til the final whistle, but this one will be another 35-0 game for BIXBY BLUE.

AA
Lincoln Christian 6-0 @ Verdigris 4-2 - All 6 games they have been involved in have ended with a team being shutout. Fortunately for them, they have been on the right side of 4 of those games. The trend will continue this week, just not in their favor as LINCOLN CHRISTIAN rolls to 7-0.

South Tulsa 2-4 @ Collinsville 5-1 - South Tulsa comes off a big win over Hulbert and have hopes on making it two in a row against the Cardinals. They have some major size on the d-line and #39 runs hard from the rb position. Wont be taken lightly that's for sure. COLLINSVILLE

BA Chrome 4-2 @ Checotah 1-5 - Checotah is on a 4 game skid after beating Hulbert. Not gonna get any easier these next two weeks. Chrome has gone through the meat of their schedule and should coast these next 3 weeks to finish at 7-2 and lock up the 3 seed. BA CHROME

Coweta White 2-3 @ Seqouyah 2-4 - Seqouyah has played much better ball the last couple weeks and are coming off a shutout of Checotah. This will be the first of 3 games for Coweta in 10 day span. Winner of this game should finish 6th in the division. SEQOUYAH

Berryhill 3-2 @ Hulbert 0-6 - Rough inaugural season for the two newcomers. Hulbert did manage to get on the board against S Tulsa on a 97 yard run! But they have been outscored 184-7 through 6 games.. Berryhill should dominate as they finish the regular season strong. Outside the LC game, they've only surrendered 1 score all year. Their d-line will feast as they hold Hulbert to less than 20 yards in this one. BERRYHILL

Good luck to everyone!
