Week 4 Pick'em!!!!
« on: September 19, 2016, 10:42:51 pm »
Week 4 Pick'ems! Getting closer to week 6 where we all will be watching divisional standings a lot more closer. This week we have some good games, but not as many as last week. Get your Picks in, Good Luck, and EPO!

Catoosa (2-1) @ Owasso White (0-3) - Baby Indians play the Big Rams late this week at 5:30 PM at Owasso. Defensively Owasso White seems to be doing good considering the offenses they have played, but Offensively they have struggled this year. Good Luck this week and see you Saturday. Catoosa

Sand Springs (1-2) @ Hilldale (0-3) - This should be a good matchup, a very under estimated Hilldale team who lost 7-6 last week to Collinsville plays a home game with the Sandites. Hilldale is tough especially up front and they have a speedster in their backfield that can catch and run. Sand Springs had a tough loss last week to Bixby Platinum in OT, but if Sand Springs can keep this monster line off of them to get the ball to their backs and receivers then they can win this game. Sand Springs line will need to step up though and I think they do. Sand Springs

Choctaw (2-1) @ Bartlesville White (1-2) - Choctaw with 32 kids is a lot and I'm sure they do a good job at getting their kids their play time, but I sure would hate to be in that position to make sure they all get that time. Of course I know this coach would love to get each one of his kids a whole game of playing time. Unfortunately that is not possible and Bartlesville White is a very very good 1-2 team. This week I think Bartlesville White gets another win. Bartlesville White

Collinsville (2-1) @ TYAA Blue (3-0) - I know Collinsville is a good team, but this TYAA team is a very good team. They are slippery so you better wrap up and once they get past your LBs just get your Kickoff Return Team ready. TYAA Blue

Sequoyah (2-1) @ Broken Arrow Black (3-0) - Really hard for me to get a good idea of how good this BA Black team really is. They look really really good on paper, but I think they have macthed well in their first 3 games. Sequoyah is a good football team with great coaching. When they are on then they are on and hard to stop. Going to go with BA Black this week do to their speed, but I wouldn't be surprised if this game goes the other way. I think it's a bad match up for both teams so I believe it will get ugly one way or another. BA Black

Bixby Red (2-1) @ Wagoner Red (0-3) - Bixby Red is coming off a close loss to Jenks Silver, but this week they travel to Wagoner Red for a 3 o'clock game. Bixby Red comes well prepared and improves to 3-1. Wagoner Red has had a very tough schedule where they will have played 4 top 15 teams in 4 weeks after this week. Bixby Red

Owasso Black (1-2) @ Jenks Silver (2-1) - Owasso Black has improved this season and there is no doubt about that, but they also have a tough schedule. Jenks Silver is playing good ball right now and after beating the Red Spartans they will be coming in Hot and ready for more. Jenks Silver

Coweta (1-2) @ Claremore (1-2) - Zebras get their first win last week, but so did the Tigers. A good match up this week between the two, but I think the Zebras have a little more speed and a better line. Coweta does have a nice speedster RB that once he gets outside he can fly, but I'm picking the Zebras this week. Claremore

Bishop Kelley (2-1) @ Muskogee (3-0) - BK is a very good AA Team and they just got beat in OT by yardage from a very good Sapulpa Team. I think Muskogee Wins this, but I don't think any clocks will be turned off this week for Muskogee. Muskogee

TYAA White (3-0) @ McAlester (0-3) - Mac Daddy it's going to be a long day for you Sir. Just tell those boys to keep their heads up because it doesn't matter what TD was called back, what Interception was ran in for a TD, or how many yellow flags have been thrown because the Bulldogs are in town this week, but don't worry "THEY AINT GOT NOTHIN" TYAA WHITE

Jenks Black (1-2) @ Wagoner Black (2-1) - Jenks Black wins 35-0 over Skiatook?? Ok, you got my attention now let's see what you have against a "Top 10" team. Last time you played a top ten team it didn't go so well for you. Wagoner had a close game with Bixby Blue where the game could have went either way and then took care of business with Pryor, don't sleep on this Jenks Team. Wagoner Black

Broken Arrow Silver (2-1) @ Skiatook (0-3) - Skiatook hasn't found the end zone in 3 games and this week will be tough for them to do so again. BA Silver played Grove a lot closer than they normally do, but couldn't pull the win out. This week they should get some work in and work a few kinks out because they will have another Top 10 team next week in Wagoner Black. BA Silver

Bixby Platinum (1-2) @ Union Black (2-1) - Both off of wins from last week. Should be a good defensive battle here, but Union Black took care of business last week winning by a couple TD's over Bartlesville Blue. I think they come home this week and win again, but in a close game. Union Black

Bartlesville Blue (1-2) @ Grove (3-0) - Not sure what happened to the Bartlesville Blue, but they seem to be up and down this season. They must be like those teams that play off so much emotion that they either are on or off depending on rather the kids showed up ready to play that week. Grove gets a lot of attention and I have heard they are a product of weak divisions since 1st Grade, but they still seem to play good teams in playoffs close win or lose. Grove

Union Silver (3-0) @ Edmond (1-2) - Union Silver had a great game against Jenks White where they were able to pull out the 7-6 victory and they get to go represent the East out West this Weekend. Good Luck both teams. Union Silver

Owasso Red (1-2) @ Jenks White (2-1) - Jenks White bounces back and comes ready to play at home. Owasso Red had a tough game last week and this week it continues on. Should be a close game, but I'm going with Jenks here. Jenks White

Del City (2-1) @ Bixby Blue (3-0) - I don't really know anything about this Del City team, but I don't think they can hang with Bixby Blue, maybe I'm wrong, but Bixby Blue is very seasoned and I'm not sure the RB that Del City has put in their for their 115 lb RB is very well seasoned. Bixby Blue

Stillwater (0-3) @ Norman (0-3) - Stillwater preseason top 10 ranking not really hanging in there...........This week Stilly boys get their first win of the season! Good Luck West Teams! Stillwater

AA

Broken Arrow White (1-2) @ Jenks Maroon (0-3) - Jenks has had a tough stretch of games the first few games, but this is a game that could go either way. BA White did go out there and show that they can play, but I think this week Jenks won't give the win up as easily. Good Luck to both teams. BA White

Lincoln Christian (3-0) @ Glenpool (1-2) - Glenpool coming off their first win and no time to celebrate because now they travel to Lincoln where they will have to play tough to win. Lincoln is too dynamic for most teams and unless you can break their film down it will be a long day for you. #2 is very smart and tough to contain. Lincoln Christian

Pryor (1-2) @ Broken Arrow Orange (0-3) - Pryor goes to 2-2 for the first time since I believe they started, congrats Pryor. Not only do they seem to be getting better, but they are playing closer games with top teams too. Pryor

Union Red (2-1) @ Sapulpa (3-0) - Still rolling with Sapulpa! I think they will be on fire this week after last weeks close call. Lincoln and Sapulpa's game next week will definitely be a good game to watch. Sapulpa

"Honey" lmao! We know he is looking forward! Don't look forward! You think who cares if you lose a non-division game and that it's unlikely well it can happen and it doesn't feel good to do so afterwards!

@strategy you probably need to remind yourself that!! Don't look forward to B.A black and put yourself in a dog fight this week. You have a division game and it would be real bad for your kids to drop there heads after last week and not show up this week.

WEEK 4 PICK EM!!

B'ville white vs. Choctaw- I'm not totally sure what each team has, but I can tell B'ville white has made a huge improvement from last year. Choctaw have 32 kids and I see that being a issue on getting a win Saturday. B'ville by 2 tds.

CATOOSA vs. Owasso white- white has a good defense but with the offensive struggle there defense can only do to much. Catoosa will come in looking to jump back on track. Think white defense will be on the field alot this weekend. INDIANS turn clock off.

SAND SPRINGS vs. Hilldale- I think this is another evenly match, but I will give the more competitive edge to Sand Springs coaching staff. SS win by a td.

Cville vs. TYAA BLUE- Cville had a nice win last weekend with hilldale electing to kick the field goal instead of going into OT. This week they have the Champs I don't see this game coming down to a kick FG. TYAA turn clock off.

GOTW #1 Sequoyah vs. B.A BLACK- Sequoyah got the win last week to get there heads back up, Black have a playmaker at RB can Sequoyah contain him the whole game? This will be a close game, but the RB for black will get that one big play. BLACK by a td.

B'ville blue vs. GROVE- well I warn ppl in the 2nd grade that grove was a really good team to watch out for. INFC is doing a really good job of keeping them off the radar lol. Blue obviously not the same team as last year, guess it was true one team was stack last season and another wasn't. GROVE by 3 tds.

B.A SILVER vs. Skiatook- Don't know what the took have, but I know they don't have enough to clamp #3 and the qb down for silver. SILVER turn clock off.

Jenks black vs. WAGONER BLACK- Jenks have improved every week from the 1st scrimmage and I salute there coaches for that. Wagoner is a team to watch out for they have the right coaches, and have a group of boys who follow his lead. Wagoner by 3 tds.

Bixby plat vs. UNION BLACK- well bixby unfortunately is getting a black team that is fired up and ready to make every team here on out a victim. Black will come out running and hitting. BLACK BY 3 tds.

BIXBY RED vs. Wagoner Red- wagoner has some good athletes on that team, and a couple of 1st year players. I can see wagoner putting up a td this week, but it will not be enough. BIXBY will have there team ready to bounce back and finish the season strong. BIXBY turn clock off.

Coweta vs. CLAREMORE- this game can go either way, I think the zebras may have jus one playmaker to many for Coweta. Zebra by a td.

TYAA WHITE vs. McAlester- White turn clock off.

Owasso black vs. JENKS SILVER- don't know much bout Owasso, silver is a team that will not wow you on film. But there boys stick to the game plan and stay discipline and that's always a formula for success. Silver by 3 tds.

BK vs. MUSKOGEE- BK a good team who have showed they can play this game and not to be look over. Muskogee just looking to improve every week. Muskogee by a td.

GOTW #2 Del - City vs. BIXBY BLUE- this will be a exciting game and Del city need to know, bixby will have there rule book out. So I hope you are not practicing this week with a 115 RB lol. Blue win by a TD.

Owasso red vs. JENKS WHITE- I'm not sure what happen to red, I see everyone keep saying #7 right, #7 left. If that is the issue you will never win against a .500 team. White will be a little upset expect some hard hitting this weekend. White by 3 tds.

UNION SILVER vs. Edmond- Silver showed they are ready to be mention as the best team in union. They have my respect. Silver turn clock off.

STILLWATER vs. Norman- STILLWATER get a W this weekend!!!

Here are my week 4 Pick'ems! Good luck everyone and make sure these boys continue to love the game!

Catoosa (2-1) @ Owasso White (0-3) - This will be a good game for the little Indians to get their heads back up. Not that they should have them down after last week. Catoosa put up a dog fight till a couple of busted plays. Catoosa wins easy

Sand Springs (1-2) @ Hilldale (0-3) - Sandites over looked a very tough, well coached Platinum team last week. It won't happen again. This Hilldale team is very good, they have had a very tough schedule so far. The Sandites show up ready to play this week!!

Choctaw (2-1) @ Bartlesville White (1-2) - I haven't seen Choctaw play, but I get the feeling this coach has his team playing with heart, and heart and love for the game wins more games than some may think. Choctaw in a close one

Collinsville (2-1) @ TYAA Blue (3-0) - Collinsville is very tough and very well coached. I picked against the blue dogs last week because they played a tough, well coached team and that didn't work out for me. These blue dogs seem to have it all. Can anyone control the tempo of the game with them for four quarters? Blue wins

Sequoyah (2-1) @ BA Black (3-0) - I think Sequoyah can win this game, so I flipped a coin. BA

Bixby Red (2-1) @ Wagoner Red (0-3) - I feel sorry for Wagoner this week, Bixby Red won't lose two in a row. Bixby wins big

Owasso Black (1-2) @ Jenks Silver (2-1) - Jenks Silver showed everyone they are for real last week. Jenks

Bishop Kelley (2-1) @ Muskogee (3-0) - I have a feeling this game could go the other way. Muskogee wins with home field advantage

Coweta (1-2) @ Claremore (1-2) - If Claremore is getting their mojo, everyone better look out. They continue their winning streak this week. Claremore

TYAA White (3-0) @ McAlester (0-3) - Ain't got nothing, enuf said. Dogs win big

Jenks Black (1-2) @ Wagoner Black (2-1) - If this Wagoner team continues to get better, they will shake things up this year. Bulldogs

BA Silver (2-1) @ Skiatook (0-3) - This is a game where Silver just lets the backs run, run, run. Silver wins big

Bixby Platinum (1-2) @ Union Black (2-1) - Will Union overlook this very well coached Platinum team? If so they will capitalize on your mistakes. Union in a close game

Bartlesville Blue (1-2) @ Grove (3-0) - It's going to be a long drive and long day for Bartlesville. Grove

Union Silver (3-0) @ Edmond (1-2) - Union wins and has fun doing it

Owasso Red (1-2) @ Jenks White (2-1) - Owasso Red is yet another very good 1-2 team. Jenks gets home field here

Del City (2-1) @ Bixby Blue (3-0) - Del City can run who they want, this Spartans team is tough! Bixby

Stillwater (0-3) @ Norman (0-3) - There has been to much losing in Sooner Nation!! Boomer!! Enuf said

AA

BA White (1-2) @ Jenks Maroon (0-3) - Flipped a coin. BA

Lincoln Christian (3-0) @ Glenpool (1-2) - I want so bad to go with Glenpool here, they are tougher than they have been playing. LC is well coached and will stay undefeated

Pryor (1-2) @ BA Orange (0-3) - I'm glad to see this Pryor team getting better. Pryor

Union Red (2-1) @ Sapulpa (3-0) - Sapulpa stays undefeated

Week 3:  Dogs vs Favorites were pretty even again this week, but 7 games were within a point or right on the line.

Catoosa  -33
Owasso White
Catoosa like to put up points when they can.  They should have a good chance to do that this weekend

Sand Springs
Hilldale  -6
Hilldale has been close.  Home team breaks into the win column this week

Choctaw  -6
B'Ville White
Choctaw got to see what a good east side teams looks like.  They took some notes and get the W.

Collinsville
TYAA Blue  -27
Champs just to much for the Cards

Sequoyah
BA Black  -20
I'm not convinced that winning the post season tourney last year makes them able to beat a good BA playoff team

Bixby Red  -35
Wagoner
Bixby comes out angry after what happened last weekend

Owasso Black
Jenks Silver  -27
Trojans playing with a lot of confidence now.

Coweta
Claremore  -13
     Zebras getting better each week

BK
Muskogee  -13
The Gee better not sleep on this AA team.  They will have to earn this one

TYAA White  -35
Mac
Mac better hope TYAA is still tired from the long early drive.

Jenks Black
Wagoner Black   -20
Wagoner looking to show they are a playoff team

BA Silver  -35
Skiatook
BA made about last weeks outcome and looking to take it out on somebody

Bixby Platinum
Union Black  -13
Union gets it done at home.

B'Ville Blue
Grove  -18
This game will be played in between the tackles, and Grove has a big one.

Union Silver  -20
Edmond
Silver shows the east side dominance in this division

Owasso Red
Jenks White  -13
Jenks has size and speed.  Hard 3 week stretch for the rams.

Del City
Bixby Blue  -13
Will Del City make the drive to Bixby?  Did they play last week?  No scores were posted.  Don't even know what to expect here

Stillwater  -13
Norman
Stillys getting better, and gets their first W of the year

BA White
Jenks Maroon  -1
Trojans looking for that first win.  Nail biter

LC  -27
Glenpool
LC shows they are the team to beat in AA

Pryor  -35
BA Orange
Pryor can't wait for the 2nd win of the season

Union Red
Sapulpa  -33
Sapulpa got a score last week.  They are in the driver seat for the #2 spot in AA.  Better start working on LC now.

« Reply #12 on: September 22, 2016, 01:03:33 am »
Here are my picks for week 4....everyone have a fun weekend and pray for no rain!  This is for EPO.

Catoosa (2-1) @ Owasso White (0-3): I, for whatever reason, felt that the Indians were gonna pull the big upset last week and of course, did not.  They keep their heads up after a tough loss last week and win BIG here.  I hear great things about the BIG Indians.

Sand Springs (1-2) @ Hilldale (0-3):  We had a great time scrimmaging the Sandites Tuesday evening,  and appreciate them coming to us and working with the boys.  They have a good coaching staff and have a lot of talent on that team.  Hilldale will be looking for their first win of the season, and its not gonna happen this weekend.  Sandites will be too big and too strong.

Choctaw (2-1) @ Bartlesville White:  Everyones been talking about how awesome the Choctaw coaching staff is...so I'm picking this game based on that alone.  However i think this game could truly go either way.  Bville White is playing some decent ball this year...

Collinsville (2-1) @ TYAA Blue (3-0):  I picked against the Blue Dawgs last week...and i ate my words.  I haven't been one of the guys on the Collinsville bandwagon train this year either.  I think this game is over half way through the first quarter.  Blue wins easily.

Sequoyah (2-1) @ BA Black (3-0):  The Eagles are good, and always seem to improve drastically throughout each season.  BA is undefeated, but they also haven't played the Blue Dawgs.  I believe Seq walks in and steals a win here, by 2 TDS.  They'll be able to stop what i believe is a "one man team".

Bixby Red (2-1) @ Wagoner Red (0-3):  Wagoner drew the short end of the stick here lol.  Playing B-Red is a tough task anyways...however playing them after they had a close loss is what i describe as a lose-lose situation.  Spartans show up and shut the board off.

Owasso Black (1-2) @ Jenks Silver (2-1):  i don't know much about the Silver Jenks team...however based off what theyve done so far, i think they get the win this weekend.  I think Owassos coaches have been doing good so far this season with what they have, and i think they hang around in this game, until the halftime clock hits 00:00 and the third quarter starts.

Bishop Kelley (2-1) @ Muskogee (3-0):  Bishop Kelley has a very aggressive defense, and aren't scared to send the house on every single play on defense.  They also might literally have the nicest coaches I've ever met in any sport.  However...I don't see their offense having any luck against the Rougher defense.  Muskogee is hungry this year and squeaks out a win here...by 2 TDs perhaps.  This one might be a good one to watch, but in the end i think the Roughers will just be too much.  Good luck Comets, I'll be rooting for you!

Coweta (1-2) @ Claremore (1-2):  Still have never seen the Tigers in person in 4 years.  Claremore however is very smart on their defensive schemes and has just enough speed on offense to scare a lot of teams on any given week.  I believe Claremore smokes them this weekend and builds some confidence heading into week 5.

TYAA White (3-0) @ McAlester (0-3): "We aint got nothin'"...that should be thrown into the same file as "yolo", and "cray cray", and "sorry, not sorry".  All those annoying ass slogans that hipsters say these days.  You're not fooling anybody...youre gonna rock the Buffaloes this weekend.  You know it, i know it, hell everyone knows it.  McAlester tries to convert the 2-point kick at the end of regulation, and misses.  TYAA White wins 7-6.

Jenks Black (1-2) @ Wagoner Black (2-1):  I have Wagoner as a dark horse in the playoffs this year.  I think they are THEE definition of a balanced team.  Jerks Black is a solid team, however i think Wagoner wins this one big.  Good luck to both teams.

BA Silver (2-1) @ Skiatook (0-3):  Oh boy....this one here is gonna be a slobber-knocker, and i hate to ever say that.  BA is a fun team to watch, but Skiatook better hope they can successfully execute The Annexation of Puerto Rico about 6 different times in this game to make it CLOSE.  Tigers roar, that is all.

Bixby Platinum (1-2) @ Union Black (2-1);  Im not gonna lie, Platinums win last week surprised me.  Their defense is legit, i was just more surprised that they outscored the Sandites.  Union Black is fast and physical.  I think this game starts out slow...then Union breaks out.

Bartlesville Blue (1-2) @ Grove (3-0):  Im not sure that I'm picking against Grove at all this year.  In fact, i hope they win the whole damn thing...wouldnt that be a hoot!  This is not the Blue team from last year (from what I've been told), and i think the Ridgeruners click on all cylinders this weekend.

Union Silver (3-0) @ Edmond (1-2):  Another westside team i know nothing about.  Redskins control the game, every way that you possibly can.

Owasso Red (1-2) @ Jenks White (2-1): This should be a good'n folks, however Jenks has what it takes to stop #7 and controls the field when they're on offense.  Trojans by a TD.

Del City (2-1) @ Bixby Blue (3-0):  Del City will be handed their first loss in a game they've actually played in.  Blue wins big!

Sillwater (0-3) @ Norman (0-3):  No team from Stilly should ever walk into Gods Country and win a game.  EVER.  Norman gets their first W.  BOOMER!

AA

BA White (1-2) @ Jenks Maroon (0-3);  still don't know much about Maroon here, but i know the White Tigers have some solid players.  Get 'em Tigers!

Lincoln Christian (3-0) @ Glenpool (1-2): Been waiting for 2 months to see the outcome of this game.  Rooting for the Warriors, however that won't help their defense against LC's nasty offense.  If the Warriors can limit their turnovers, this could be a shocker.

Pryor (1-2) @ BA Orange (0-3):  Too many people that know football have told me that Pryor has seriously improved.  Exactly how much, i really don't know and will have to see myself.  Going with Pryor on this one, hoping its a close one and perhaps BA can get their first win.  Good lucks guys!

Union Red (2-1) @ Sapulpa (3-0):  We had a great defensive showdown with BK last week, and hope to keep the momentum on our side heading into this weekend.  Americas Team has practiced hard this week and like i stated earlier, had a good time scrimmaging my old school, Charles Page.  We got some kinks in our offense fixed and tested out some new defensive formations.  Its my sons birthday Saturday and he swears that theres NO WAY he's loosing on his 10th birthday.  Theres strong....and then theres CHIEFTAIN STRONG.

Catoosa (2-1) @ Owasso White (0-3) - Catoosa will bounce back strong this week against a very confused Owasso team. Heard through thee grapevine some parents destroyed this team and then jumped ship on them. Catoosa by 30

Choctaw (2-1) @ Bartlesville White (1-2) - I wanna know more about Choctaw. My gut is telling Bville will win this game. Bville by 6

Collinsville (2-1) @ TYAA Blue (3-0) - Bulldogs just keep rollin!

Sequoyah (2-1) @ BA Black (3-0) - I like what Sequoyah coaches have done since a rough start to last season. They will win this game. Eagles by 7

Owasso Black (1-2) @ Jenks Silver (2-1) - Jenks Silver is showing they can play some ball. Owasso has nothing for them. THis is an easy win for them. Jenks by 21

Bishop Kelley (2-1) @ Muskogee (3-0) - This will be a good game. I think Muskogees speed will take over. Gee by 12

Coweta (1-2) @ Claremore (1-2) - 2 teams trying to put it all togther still. Good game. Zebras by6

Union Silver (3-0) @ Edmond (1-2) - Union wins big

Owasso Red (1-2) @ Jenks White (2-1) - These Owasso coaches have no effective game plan or a clue how to win a game. #7 is a great player, but the days of him carrying this team are over. Cmon coaches, coach em up!! Jenks by 18
