Playoff Standings

Alright the last week of the regular season is upon us and boy is it gonna be a good one! D3 is the only division that is 100% locked in. We have a win and in game in D1, a division title and #1 seed up for grabs in D2. Then there's home playoff positioning in AA, and either an Edmond or a Bixby Blue bubble that's finally gonna burst in D4.

D1
#1 Glenpool
#2 Bixby Red
#3 Owasso White/BA Platinum winner

D2
#1 BA Black/Jenks White winner
#2 BA Black/Jenks White loser
#3 Tyaa Blue

D3
#1 Tyaa Red
#2 BA White
#3 Union Silver

D4
#1 Norman Twolves 7-1 +48
#2 Jenks Maroon 7-1 +48
#3 Bixby Blue 6-2 +32
Edmond 6-2 +39

So the Twolves should coast against the winless Tigers in the battle of Norman to assure them of the #1 seed.. A Jenks Maroon win over Edmond eliminates the Bulldogs and would give Jenks the #2, and Bixby Blue the #3. Edmond not only needs to beat Jenks, but they will need to beat them by 5 or more. That would give them the edge in marginal points, and ultimately the #2 seed, therefore Jenks would be the #3 with the H2H over Bixby. If Edmond wins by 4 or less, Jenks would hold the edge in marginal points, and be the #2, while Bixby would be the #3 with their H2H over Edmond.

Doubt that it happens, but a side note. If BA Platinum wins, and U-Red upsets Glenpool (who knows coachemup could pull a Popovich and rest some players with the 1 seed locked up  ;D) there would be a 3 way tie for 3rd, leaving it up to marginal points to break the tie.

I may be wrong, but if that happens we are still in because we would have the head to head over both Union Red and Owasso White. The only time it would go to points would be if there is no clear head to head winner.

U-Red is eliminated from the playoffs. Its winner take all in your game.

Wouldn’t it go to points in Div 4 even if Edmond beats Jenks by 1 point? Since you would have 3 teams with 2 losses?

That is correct. In a 3-way tie, marginal points decides who is first and H2H decides between the remaining 2 teams.

Page 28 Rule Book

A. In the event three or more teams are tied with identical records and no
winner can be determined, the advancing team shall be determined
by totaling the margin of points for each tied team in all Divisional
games (or division games if two or more divisions). The advancing
team shall be the team with the greatest number of marginal points.
B. Any remaining playoff spots for the remaining tied teams shall be
determined by the winner over the other during the regular season
as above.

Cards when you say home field in AA does that mean Lincoln is the only one or head to head wins get home field in the first round?

I guess I'm just assuming with 5 teams, it'll look something like this. #5 @ #4. Winner plays @ #1. While #3 plays @ #2. Again, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Whoever wins between you and verdigris this weekend gets home field for playoff game.. LC has home field against berryhill/verdigris winner and Collinsville gets home game against BA Chrome.

Let me verify for you guys. In an event of a tie between 3 teams if any one team has victories over the other two teams they win the tie breaker.

The only time points would decide tie breaker is if all three teams beat each other.
Ex. Team A beat Team B
      Team B beat Team C
      Team C beat Team A

Its win and get in for the #3 spot in D1.  Should be fun. Could be a rainy day on a grass field.  Which lends itself to both our games.  Looking forward to the challenge.
