Divisional Breakdowns Week 7
« on: October 13, 2022, 01:08:07 pm »
Going in to week 7 this is how things look:

All standings reported on the INFC website (unless I know of a head-to-head victory)

I'm going to skip the details on the west side since most of the scores aren't reported and I haven't got a chance to see them live.
OKC1
1. Yukon Red 5-0
2. Edmond White 3-1
3. Piedmont Blue 3-2

OKC2
1. Choctaw White 4-0
2. Edmond Maroon 4-1
3. Norman 1-1

TUL1
2 & 3 seed still very much up for debate
1. Bixby Blue (6-0)- They have one tough game left for the last game of the year.
2. Glenpool (5-1)- Big game this week. They need to upset TYAA Blue or Bixby Blue to stay alive.
3. TYAA Blue (5-1)- With a win this week they can move up to #2.

Looking in:
BA White- is still very much alive, already played TYAA Blue and Bixby Blue, and owns the head-to-head vs. Glenpool (who still needs to play TYAA and Bixby Blue)

Eliminated:
McAlaster
Stillwater
J-Maroon
O-Red
BA Chrome
Yellowjackets

TUL2
A lot of games left and that #2 and #3 seed still left to be decided.
1. BA Gold (6-0)- They appear to be in control of the 1 seed at this point, but it will probably decided on 10/22 vs Bixby Red.
2. Claremore (5-1)-They had a good run going and are about to see what they're made of as a team. Games left: 10/22 Vs. O-Black
3. Bixby Red (5-1)- They really need to beat B-Blue this week or they could be in the PST

Looking in:
Bartlesville Blue- They have an end loaded schedule. Bixby Red and O-Black left
Owasso Black- Their schedule had them with two tough games at the beginning and two at the end. They still got Claremore and Bartlesville Blue left for their last two games. (I got a sneaky suspicion this team sneaks into that 3rd spot)

Eliminated:
Jenks Silver
Skiatook
SS Gold
BA Silver

TUL3
All 3 seeds up for grabs in this division
1. Fort Gibson (6-0)- Survived a scare against Muskogee. Still have TYAA red on 10/22
2. TYAA Red (6-0)- Nothing but dominant in the gauntlet division, I know both of us have that 10/22 date circled.
3. Lincoln Christian (3-2)- It was a good week for a bye week for them this week. After losing a coach and QB they needed some extra time to prepare for Coweta Black. That could definitely decide a playoff spot.

Looking in:
Coweta Black (4-2)- This team is pretty dang good. If they don't get that 3rd spot, they'll be dang good in the PST.
Muskogee (2-3) - Not officially eliminated but needs to win out and get some help from other teams.
Eliminated:
B-White
SS Black
Union Silver
BA Black

Potential Playoffs: (all seedings from the INFC website)

Top Side:
Choctaw White Vs. Bye
Vs.
Glenpool Vs. Claremore

FTG Vs. Norman
Vs.
Yukon Red Vs. TYAA Blue

Bottom Side:
Bixby Blue Vs. Bixby Red
Vs.
Edmond Maroon Vs. LC

TYAA Red Vs. Edmond White
Vs.
BA Gold Vs. Piedmont Blue

Tried to do this quickly, so I could've made a mistake. A couple of teams on here that I know will switch places in the next few weeks.

Quick question why both #1 seeds in OKC area on same bracket side?

I don't have an answer. I'm just going off of old brackets that the INFC has used before. They usually use the same brackets
