Coaches on the field
« on: September 02, 2020, 11:54:22 pm »
So since our 2nd week is a bye week doesn't that mean that the coaches are allowed on the field ?

Yes, first 2 games, bye week doesn't count against you.

If you are playing 4th grade ball and still need coaches on the field you might want to re-evaluate the coaches  :D

Lol ,for some that's true . But since it's allowed I believe in humbly taking advantage of all opportunities to tighten up. Kind of like a scrimmage lol .  But hey , some coaches are comfortable.  They've got it down packed .

We let the boys run it last year in 3rd grade but we also had two full scrimmages with coaches out there the whole time. This year we went out on the field a bit because we only did one scrimmage weekend this year. So to each there own everyone has there different ways if it works for you than it works for you. The rules are the rules and i believe if they allow it take advantage of it, but then again what do i know. It's not the X's and O's its the Jimmy's and Joe's right?!!!??? After all its the boys team we are just trying our best to let them have fun and learn the game at the end of the day. Hopefully by time they reach 7th grade we are handing off some kids that have learned something.  8) 8)

That comment was savage. You handled that very well Union Black. Very impressive. Riggs your right brother. With all the good fun and ribbing can’t lose sight that they are 10y.o. boys playing a game. Coach them up. Well said

Let’s just keep the  coaching on the field to before the snap... and back up!

I seen 5th grade AA allowed the coaches to be on the field as well. Kinda wild
