Sorry to bring up an old post (From Week 2 pick'ems) but i wanted to put this out there. Myself and our Stillwater team had the honor of traveling to Choctaw this past weekend to battle the Yellow Jackets. After reading Coach Mac's post (Week 2) I couldn't agree more with what he said. We face the same issues with a larger team and i feel that i could relate. Since then, I reached out to Aaron and got to know him a bit. We shared film and chatted about our kids. I can honestly say I have grown as a coach and person just by my dealings with him and his team. Me personally when seeing kids with disabilities go out there on the field and give the effort I witnessed this past Saturday is humbling and a reminder why we are out there. Before and after the game both teams met center field and broke out together after prayer. Pretty dang cool opportunity to bring these teams together and teach our kids that we can battle on the field but come to together as one after the game. It will be something I will always remember. (Tried uploading the awesome picture but it kept giving me an error)

 I don't care if we go 9-0 or 0-9. I sure love being out there with these kids.

Hope to see more of this throughout the INFC and coaches and parents remember it's not all about the "W".
