AA top 10
« on: October 14, 2019, 04:36:18 pm »
Ya'll want some love, by golly you'll get some love. Here is my top 10 based off of scores and records (I've only seen Berryhill play)

#1. Berryhill  7-0  Completely dominating everyone

#2 Pryor- 5-2 I've seen a quarter of action, but based on their record and teams they have lost to, my opinion is they are #2

#3 Sequoyah 6-1 These boys haven't had to match up with Berryhill yet and since Pryor beat them head to head, I'm putting Pryor ahead of them

#4 Glenpool 5-2 The Bixby Blue loss doesn't seem to help out their rankings. Other loss is to a good Sequoyah team

#5 Sapulpa- 4-3 It looks like they are beating the teams they should. Losses came to the teams above ^^^

#6 Bishop Kelley- 3-4 At least this team can say they got a safety.

#7 Bixby Blue- 3-4 Have a good win on their resume by beating Glenpool

#8 Hilldale- 2-5  This was the team to beat back in Mighty Mites. Anyone else remember these boys dominating???

#9 Bartlesville White-  0-7. Not sure why they are they cant win. They have some big boys on their team.

#10 Verdigris- 0-6 Not sure what is going on here. But word on the street is that they should be getting a BIG TIME transfer. Will it he be the answer to getting into the endzone for the Cardinals???

I'm sure there are some errors in here somewhere. Don't get a chance to watch many of these teams play so don't get butt hurt if I didn't put your team where you think they should be.. Lets see your top 10 and we can compare..

I agree with this ranking!.. I am the verdigris 4th grade head coach and President!.. Might be some truth to that transfer :)  guess time will tell.  played some great teams so far,  my boys are getting there.. Im hopeful we will at least score before the season ends!  In the mean time just gotta keep coaching them up and keeping their attitudes right!  I honestly think the biggest problem we face is we are our own worst enemy on the field!  As soon as something bad happens its like they just give up and start arguing with each other!

Man cards I feel your pain on that seems it doesn't take much to get the boys down. Our last two games is focused purely on having fun! Something has to work right!! Good luck guys

@VCardks, I love the positive attitude. Love that even though you and your boys haven't had the most ideal season your still grinding with those boys to make them better. Glad there are still great coaches out there that stay on the grind even when things get rocky. I'm sure those boys love that they have a coach who sticks by their side. But I also think this grade has the best set of coaches in all INFC, but I could be a little biased lol...  Also, I think that transfer would look GREAT in some zebra stripes =)..

Keep up the good work coach

I feel so loved!! Lol, Thanks fellas. I try and get on here as much as I can....Dounuts...LOL ...good one! I tell ya what, Its been a fun season. Dont care what the scores say. Every team we have played have had some great players competing. Our Coaching staff has been challenged and has really come together and got after it with the boys. We hope to get another shot at Glenpool and Berryhill.  Here are my thoughts on those we have played so far. Not in any order.

Glenpool- Solid team, We kept that big fella in front of us for 3 qts and he finally broke loose. He will be special on Friday night one day. Good luck to yall this season!

Berryhill- Man you guys have those boys coached up. Very efficient. Tough kids. I hope your High School coaches appreciate what you all are doing with the young ones. Keep it up!

Sequoyah-  Another bunch of Big tough kids that if it weren't for them fumbling 5-6 times when we played them im not sure we would have won. Well coached. The overload offense is simple and effective. Love the simplicity. Appreciate Coach Evans helping me out this year. The man knows football. Thanks coach!

Sapulpa-  Ill be honest, I was really caught off guard a few times during this game. These kids fought like crazy, Sapulpa Coaches made some adjustments on defense and stopped us more than I liked. Lots of good things happening on that team. Keep it up coaches. You guys have a good group

Bishop Kelley- If my memory serves me I think you got the safety against us! Lots of talent on that team. Stay after those young men. No doubt they will find success soon.

Bixby Blue-  I really enjoyed talking with the Head Coach prior to our game. Great guy, Fired up to coach youth football.  The game was tough and they got after us. Big Big kids. Good luck this season guys

Verdigris- I personally wasn't able to attend the game but my coaches kept telling me how talented and Big those boys are. I love to hear it. So many times the scoreboard doesn't tell the story. Keep coaching those boys up. Sounds like you got some great athletes.

We have Bartlesville and Hilldale left to play. Hope to have two great competitive games against both teams. Good luck to both you guys.  Ill shut up with the Quote we here so many times. The opportunities we get to influence these young men are more valuable than Gold. Investments that go beyond the football field. Lets keep that in mind as we carry the title of Coach. Thanks men. Stay safe and good luck.

Have really enjoyed this year. Was quite the transition coming down from 6th grade being with the same group for so long and then starting over with a new group of kids. Its been fun meeting all the coaches and getting acclimated with this age group. Look forward to the next few years as it will probably be my  last go round. 3 is enough I think hah. I kinda wish with this being only a 1 division league we would just play the season out and move on to the post season tournament as opposed to playing the same teams again. I would like to see how we fair against some of the A teams and going against some fresh teams.

Lol appreciate the love @ZebraPride, got to agree with you on the list, seems spot on to me. I've been really impressed with the team's we have had the privilege to play so far, well coached and disciplined in wins and defeats. Hope everyone's player's stay healthy as we wind down another season.

100% agree on PST instead of playoffs. Been a fun season regardless. Hope to finish strong.
