Correct about Metro. We formed a team with a few kids who have played before and are transferring to the school. However, we have 13 with absolutely zero experience, and it showed last night. Small school so we had to combine with 3rd grade, a few from Holland Hall, and actually a 2nd grader because of weight. Last night was first pads for us. It was clearly obvious with our experienced versus the younger and inexperienced guys. Gonna be a challenging season but if anyone ever wants a quick scrimmage please message me. I have it cleared with our AD and these new guys really need it. We are the only Metro team so we have the full varsity field for scrimmage/practice. Gonna be a rough season so I hope you all will bring the hammer down on us. They have to learn somehow!
