Bartlesville Blue:
A Playoff team a year ago this Bruins team just keeps getting better. With #27 and a nice supporting cast they should give most teams fits. I didn't get to pay a good deal of attention these guys, but I can assure you that the speed is still there. Defensively they still swarm to the football well. Being in D2 i fully expect this Bruins team to compete for that 3rd and final Playoff spot. At the moment I got Bixby Red locked in the #2 spot, but we will get into that when I make my Preseason Playoff Predictions lol.

BA Black - You can basically copy and paste what I said about BA Silver here. I didn't get to focus on these guys a ton, but they did have some kids who looked the part out there. I expect them to only get better as the season goes along.

Bixby White - Along with Holland Hall these guys have me really intrigued after scrimmages. They either clearly want to throw the ball or really wanted to work on their passing game, but they threw a ton and the QB had a few throws that were gorgeous. 1 imparticular on a corner route where the WR made a heck of a catch while tightly covered. They really kinda mirrored HH in the sense that neither team had a ton of size, but they have some really good looking, athletic kids. The QB is quick and they spread you out where he runs a nice boot. Defensively they had a good showing as well. I was told that my buddy A. Wade took this team, but either I missed him or I was misinformed. Either way I think these guys have to get serious consideration to possibly win it all in AA this year. I liked watching this team.

Berryhill - This team right here has to be the clear favorites to win AA coming in IMO. They are a tough, physical group of kids with a nice mix of size and speed (Seriously I think they only breed 1 type of team at Berryhill because they all look the same). They blocked really well of the line and ran their offense just like it was supposed to be ran. They were working on some passing that appears to still be a work in progress, but you better pack your lunch in the middle. Boasting on of the best offensive and defensive lines in AA with what appears to be a great group of coaches these guys are 2 handfuls of trouble for any team on the opposing sideline.

McAlester - I didn't get to watch McAlester a ton, but they definitely looked a little different than they did a year ago. A nice mix of size and speed these guys should progress as the season goes on. They are in what I believe is the 2nd toughest A Division in D1. The top of this Division is pretty well set to me, but who finishes in that #4 spot is anyone's guess. I would consider that a victory over there.
