Week 7 top 10
« on: October 10, 2022, 02:36:07 pm »
This week was full of GREAT matchups. Playoffs are going to be LOADED with teams that could make a run to win it all.

#1- Jenks Maroon- I got to see film on these guys. And all the great things I hear about them. They are my new top dawgs.
#2- Choctaw Blue- They are really good.
#3- Tyaa Red- Their line is massive. And with a great line, you will win a lot of games.
#4- Union Silver- They lost their best lineman. That will hurt. But this team is still legit
#5- Bixby Red- Huge win over a very talented Sequoyah team.
#6- Union Black- They are legit. I have watched a few of their games, QB is pretty good
#7- Sequoyah- Tough loss this past weekend. But we all know losing builds character and you learn so much after a loss. I like their chances against Union Silver this week. Them eagles will be ready to rock and roll.
#8- Edmond- They are sneaky. They are 6-0 and get to play a moore blue team that is 5-1.. We will see how good they are once they meet up with choctaw blue last game of the year
#9- Lincoln Christian- these boys can tackle well. Very well coached. I have always loved playing against this coaching staff
#10- Muskogee/Tyaa Blue/Mcalester/Stillwater/Glenpool/Moore Blue/Bartlesville Blue/Tyaa White

So many teams on here that are very very talented. I say it all the time, this grade is loaded

Week 7 Top 10

1(1) Jenks Maroon 6-0, can go toe to toe with anyone
2(2) Union Silver 6-0, lost a good lineman but until they lose they are my #2
3(3) Choctaw Blue 6-0, best of the west...for now
4(5) TYAA Red 6-0, big and fast and a favorite to win it
5(6) Claremore Red 6-0, well coached and will take a complete team to beat them
6(7) Union Black 6-0, finally was tested by bville and proved they belong near the top
7( 8 ) Muskogee 5-1, only loss was 19-12 to Maroon, they win out in districts
8(9) Edmond 6-0, sneaking their way up a seed at a time
9(NR) Bixby Red 5-1, only loss to Union Silver, huge win over Sequoyah to prove they are still a contender
10(4) Sequoyah 4-1 recent L to bixby red but still some dawgs

Made it a point to try to check out most of the undefeated teams and this is strictly my opinion.

1.TYAA RED- Saturday determines who’s number one but right now I’m rocking with Red. Their line is big and very aggressive. #99 is a top linemen in this grade. They are also fast but lack variety in the backfield. It’s pretty easy to point out who’s getting the ball and the direction they’ll go.
2. UNION BLACK- not to be taken lightly. Probably the best group of skill players in our grade but the line is the weakness. RBs who are also the LBs are very aggressive and fast and QB will hit the sides and be gone. The coaches are also my favorite in this grade.  They either 1 or 2 after this weekend.
3. CHOCTAW BLUE- hard to say but the best out that way
4. JENKS MAROON- big game coming up but I’m rocking with Maroon. They are big up front and coming to get you.
5. EDMOND- Only 7 teams undefeated and they one
6. CLAREMORE RED- Very disciplined team and very well coached.
7. UNION SILVER- Undefeated but started the season out with a great lineman. Pretty fast RB but the QB is struggling with handoffs. I haven’t seen them since Bonecrusher left but he was the line so not sure how they really line up now.  See how they match up Saturday.
8. BIXBY RED- beat Sequoyah to prove they deserve this spot
9. MUSKOGEE- RBs fast and line can get in backfield.
10 SEQUOYAH- Big and aggressive up front. If they show up strong and aggressive Saturday I think they can prove they deserve a higher spot and they aren’t to be played with. I can see them in the backfield a lot.

1.TYAA Red (Peaking at the right time)
2. Jenks Maroon (Line play will determine this weeks game.)
3. Choctaw Blue
4. Union Black (First real test this week. This will tell if they real)
5. Claremore Red (They keep winning and nobody is talking about them)
6. Edmond
7.Union Silver (Suspect. Seems to had hard time in what should have been a blowout.)
8. Bixby Red (Showed they can beat anyone, any where last week)
9.Sequoyah (A few seconds from still being undefeated)
10. TYAA Blue (Starting to flex after early loss)

1. TYAA Red- Big upfront with an explosive offense and the kids are tough
2. Union Silver- Depth up front with about 5 different guys that can score for them. They swarm on defense as well
3. Union Black - Explosive offense with an exceptional athlete at QB , can also get stops
4. Choctaw- Continues to win out west
5. Jenks Maroon- Most balanced team out there , well coached .
6.Claremore Red - They keep winning
7. Muskogee - Athletes everywhere , They will upset your favorite team in the playoffs .
8. Bixby Red- Will air out any team they play if they can protect him and keep him healthy. WRs are go getters.
9. Tyaa White - Under the radar but can beat anyone any given Saturday .
10. Sequoyah - Off balanced offense tortures defenses but they don’t have the athletes to outrun anybody.

Good luck coach. Weather is setup nicely for a day of youth football. Good luck to everyone tomorrow. Win or lose, who cares, it’s only youth. That’s what I try to tell myself but it never works lol
