So you saying due to covid they not gonna let everyone play in the playoffs they just gonna keep it the same as for top 3 teams in each division?

Typically, they take the Top 3 Seeds from each Division and put them into Playoffs then they take the others and put them into the Post Season Tournament if they want to participate.

So I think he is saying they're just doing what they normally do because COVID had hardly any impact at all; whereas they originally planned this year to allow everyone to go to playoffs.

Just depends on who "he" is that your referring to.

Top 3 from each division go to the playoffs. Everyone else can enter the post season tourney.
