I’m sorry to say this on a public forum.....but I rethought that! I’m glad to say this is why I hate Berryhill! Especially in Mity Mite Football! They Go Hard on 8 VS 8 with a good lineman and athletic back but....🤗 11 on 11 Berryhill? Run in the middle 100 times then pass 1-2 on same drive? Sound like a game plan? This is why you fall behind 3rd Grade on...more city boys in the pool! If you make it to college ball? Let me repeat that, IF YOU MAKE IT TO COLLEGE BALL? You learn fast...especially if you’re play D-1 Defense...that coaches teach and repeat a saying, “if you're not cheating, you’re not trying”? Now I do not promote a cheat! But I do promote this statement. It’s not holding unless you get caught? Teach YOUR boys to (do something about it) don’t publicly complain about a holding! Defensive players can use their hands! Grab, hold or patty cake? Offensive players can NOT! Thumbs up!

Berryhill lost #21 and #33.  We played Berryhill last year and #33 scored every touchdown.  #21 probably had 25 tackles.  Both kids dominated.  I assume that’s the reason they are no longer in everyone’s top 5.

Nitro is making it seem like the coaches at Berryhill can’t transition from 8 man to 11 man.  Its not the coaches fault he lost his 2 best players.  He’s prolly doing the best he can with what he’s left with.

Yes tough when you lose a core of athletes like that for sure. Good kids and dedicated parents left there. Dont sleep on them

I know the guy is a pretty smart coach.  I assume they will get better as the season goes on.  They went from relatively unknown to top 5 last year.  So he will figure it out.

Yes, Berryhill lost 2 of its core players. The whole fiasco at the end of the year last year is still haunting us. It's just been a big mess. We still have boys on this team that can play ball. The same boys that played with the 2 that are no longer with us. We were not even sure we would have enough to play this year. However, we gained 4 new players.....4 new players who have never played football before. That alone makes it super difficult. You can't hate Berryhill because of something someone said. We have a great group of kids who are learning more every day and a couple of coaches who were thrown into this when our head coach had to step away right before season began. They are doing the best they can and know how to do. This is a learning and growing season for our group of boys. Just because 2 players left does not mean there are not other boys on this team that can play some football. The drama that played out last year was something not only we adults dealt with, but unfortunately the kids as well. It is what it is. These boys are learning......and they will improve and are already starting to. The kids are having fun and ALL of them are learning the game and that's what matters the most! Good luck to everyone this weekend! Don't sleep on the Hill though....things will start clicking and we will start making our run again. Maybe not this season.......but it will happen! Safe travels and best of luck to everyone this weekend!

Sorry if I made it sound like that.  I didn’t mean there weren’t other talented kids on the team.  I was just trying to say not to blame the coaching if the team is struggling after losing those 2 particular players.  Football is a team sport for sure and those 2 kids even needed support too even though they were 2 of the best players in INFC.  I was not aware the coach from last year left right before the season that’s unfortunate for the kids. Good luck to you the rest of the season I’m sure things will continue to improve.

The coach we had was not from last year. Due to the way things ended last year, the Board decided none of the 4 guys who had coached these boys would be able to coach this team again. It's a bunch of crap and that is one other thing that has hurt this team.  When I say this has been quite the ordeal, trust me...it has! So the coaches these boys played for for 3 years are gone. The head coach we had when season began is the one that had to step away the week of the first games. I guess you could say like they say in college football....this is a "rebuilding season".

Yea that sounds ridiculous.  Way too much of a mess for 3rd grade football.  So #33 went to glenpool ? Lol that crap ain’t right.  They should make him enter a transfer portal 😂😂😂.  And #21 is at Locust Grove? At least they both didn’t go to glenpool that would be some stuff straight out of a nightmare.  #21 from Hill and and #49 from glenpool on the same defense ? No thanks. Bump that team up to 5th grade lol.
