Division Standings and scores as of now, I know they don't mean anything at this point. Just something to look at.

Edit.... I did have SS for and against wrong. It should be For-12    Against-19

SAND SPRINGS @ COWETA BLACK -GOTW #3- Coweta Black has been playing some good ball. They definitely have my interest peaked. SS looks like they have the D side of the ball figured out but the O is struggling.  SS has to many kids I'm going with Coweta in a close one.

YUKON @ CHOCTAW BLUE - I'm a believer now. Blue wins big.

TYAA BLUE @ COLLINSVILLE - I'd hate to be Collinsville this week, Rushings boys bounce back in a big way.

BARTLESVILLE BLUE @ JENKS SILVER- B-Blue took out my #10 pick last week and I believe they get it done again this week.

COWETA WHITE @ BIXBY BLUE- Coweta there's a good burger joint in Bixby for after the game.

JENKS MAROON @ BARTLESVILLE WHITE- these little Bartlesville teams are scrappy. They get another W in this one.

OWASSO RED @ LINCOLN CHRISTIAN- Both teams have only allowed one touchdown, but LC has played some better teams. LC in this one

CLAREMORE @ SAPULPA- Well the Little Chieftains almost pulled off one of the bigger upsets of the year. This isn't an upset but they get it done this week.

VERDIGRIS @ WAGONER- Wagoner has yet to find the end zone, Verdy gets it done here convincingly.

UNION @ BROKEN ARROW SILVER- If they can slow down #15 Silver can stay undefeated. I just don't see that happening The U goes to 2-1

MUSKOGEE @ HILLDALE- GOTW #2-#47 and company are here to try and stake a claim on a playoff spot. #17 and his fellow Hornets say otherwise. I think this will be a good game and no doubt Shaffer has some bulletin board material now to get his young men fired up. If they can contain #4 they have a shot at a W. But that is easier said then done. Muskogee squeaks by on this one.

GLENPOOL @ FORT GIBSON- GOTW- No doubt this one has divisional implications early on. Should be a great game.

BIXBY RED @ SKIATOOK- I'm with Shaffer, usually when you see Bixby Red it means a W. I do believe they get another win to move to 3-0

MCALESTER @ BROKEN ARROW WHITE- Mcalaster better have a good O-Line or it could be a long day. BA gets another W here.

TYAA RED @ CATOOSA- Strat hasn't been on here lately, probably because he's been game planning for Red. I don't think the Indians have enough fire power to pull off the upset here. Red Wins.

STILLWATER @ CHOCTAW GOLD- Stillwater (youth and College) has struggled on Offense and I don't think they can get it done in this one. Gold wins.

BERRYHILL @ BROKEN ARROW GOLD- A surprising stat-Gold hasn't scored a TD yet-. They have faced off with 2 teams that haven't allowed a TD yet to. Gold finds the End zone early and often in this one.

OWASSO BLACK    @ BROKEN ARROW BLACK- BA Black is another team that has surprised a few people. There Defense seems to be solid. I think they're to much for the Rams in this one.

WESTMOORE @ NORMAN- Word on the street is Norman pays Lincoln Riley to help coach  :D It helps them this week. They move to 2-1

EDMOND @ PIEDMONT - I'm going with Piedmont in this one. Somebody should get their first TD and first W of the season.

Most everybody is playing Division games this week and that's where it all starts to matter. Good luck everyone and hope all your young men stay safe and injury free this week.

BallCoach I like that you got BA Gold as a GOTW. I honestly didn't see that, you got me interested to see the final score now, I thought BA would roll.

SAND SPRINGS @ COWETA BLACK - Haven't seen Coweta Black yet, should be a great game and could seriously have some playoff implications for their division. Excited for this one since we are in the same division. I'll coin flip it and pick the home team. COWETA BLACK
YUKON @ CHOCTAW BLUE - Choctaw Blue goes undefeated easily for the rest of the year. Shuts the clock off here as in most weeks in the future. One of a couple teams that could touch Bixby Blue.
TYAA BLUE @ COLLINSVILLE - Blue shuts the clock off here too. Too much talent.
BARTLESVILLE BLUE @ JENKS SILVER - Toss up here. I'll take Bartlesville Blue. Good luck to both.
COWETA WHITE @ BIXBY BLUE - Randy has Blue clicking on all cylinders this early in the season somehow, really wish I could watch the Red game towards the end of the season. Shuts the clock off.
JENKS MAROON @ BARTLESVILLE WHITE - This is funny right? Both Bartlesville teams playing both Jenks teams. I'll take Jenks Maroon. Not sure which team #13 from last year went to but I think it was this one.
OWASSO RED @ LINCOLN CHRISTIAN - LC in this one. Hope Owasso makes it a game and both teams grow and get better.
CLAREMORE @ SAPULPA - Is Sapulpa as good as they played last week against TYAA Blue? Probably. Chieftans run away with this one.
VERDIGRIS @ WAGONER - Verdigris. Wagoner is getting better but still has some work to do. Go get em.
UNION @ BROKEN ARROW SILVER - Could be a toss up here. I've seen both teams and they both have positives and some stuff to work on. I'll be a homer and take BA.
MUSKOGEE @ HILLDALE - The Gee here. Too many athletes and the speed alone should score a few times. Can Hilldale control the clock and keep it away from them? Could make it a game.
GLENPOOL @ FORT GIBSON - Easily GOTW right? Ft. Gibson has done nothing but impress. They have to have a good team around #6 or teams would key on him alone and stop them. Or is the kid that good? Glenpool now knows what we went through week 1, except they got to see them live before they played them.  I'll go with Ft. Gibson this week. Whoever wins is arguably a top 5 team going forward and will probably win the division. Could be huge for playoff matchups.
BIXBY RED @ SKIATOOK - Bixby Red does not look like the same team from last year. I think they roll here and get their confidence rolling going into division play.
MCALESTER @ BROKEN ARROW WHITE - Seen both teams. BA White takes this one. McAlester has some good kids but not enough to run the spread offense like it should be ran. Love them joining this year though.
TYAA RED @ CATOOSA - Played against red and saw catoosa play last week. This isn't close. Red.
STILLWATER @ CHOCTAW GOLD - Stillwater here. They have a good chance of making the playoffs out of that division. Good Luck to the West teams.
BERRYHILL @ BROKEN ARROW GOLD - Our game so no prediction
OWASSO BLACK    @ BROKEN ARROW BLACK - Black rolls to 3-0. Easy schedule or are they contenders to make the playoffs? Go BA!
WESTMOORE @ NORMAN - Coin Flip. I'll go with Norman because I lived there for years.
EDMOND @ PIEDMONT - Edmond only because I don't even know where Piedmont is.

Good luck to all this weekend starting division play. Best time of the year!!

Sand Spings vs Coweta Black **GOTW** (Coweta Black) This is a good chance for Coweta Black to add to their resume as to why they should be considered a top team in this grade and likewise a chance for Sand Springs re-emerge by stopping that from happening. I am sold on this Coweta team and I think get the job done here.

Yukon vs Choctaw Blue (Choctaw Blue)
Anytime a West team lines up against Choctaw Blue is a chance for them to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Choctaw has the ability to win it all. They may have the most impressive resume to date this year.

Tyaa Blue vs Collinsville (Tyaa Blue) This game is going to be closer than most think. Collinsville can tackle well and unless Tyaa Blue is coming out to prove something after that Sapulpa game I think this could be another really good game.

Bartlesville Blue vs Jenks Silver (Bartlesville Blue) This Bartlesville team has all of the parts to be a formidable team. The 2 - 2 stripers on the line are players and #27 is a great player. It depends on if the refs are going to be flag happy or not. This Blue team is aggressive in a good way.

Coweta White vs Bixby Blue (Bixby Blue) Coweta White will continue to get better, but the champs are the xhamps for a reason and they don't look like they a ready to relinquish the crown just yet.

Jenks Maroon vs Bartlesville White (Bartlesville White) Bartlesville White is a scrappy little team. Boasting what I believe is one of the best defensive players in the grade in #34 at LB I think these guys are good enough to give most people a good look. This Jenks Maroon team has some talent and these 2 teams got a look at each other in the 2nd scrimmage. This could be a good one.

Owasso Red vs LC (LC) LC is looking good so far. The end score of this game should be a good indicator of where they are offensively.

Claremore vs Sapulpa (Sapulpa) After last week's game with Tyaa Blue Sapulpa has put every other team on notice. You better bring your "A" game. Claremore is a tough team so this should be a good look for both teams.

Verdigris vs Wagoner (Verdigris) A good Verdi gets their 1st W of the season here. Wagoner will show up ready to play and having already had a look in their 1st scrimmage Wagoner may be ready to throw a change up or 2.

Union vs BA Silver (Union) #15 and Union set out to make a statement here. I haven't got to see BA Silver, but a win here may raise some eyebrows.

Muskogee vs Hilldale **GOTW** (Hilldale) per the usual I always roll with my boys! I had this game circled as a game that will be a Playoff eliminator as soon as I seen the schedule. I have got to see Muskogee a couple of times this year. The 1st time in person at the first scrimmage and the 2nd time this last week against Ft Gibson. They have improved a good deal IMO. There is no doubt what makes Muskogee tick and that is #4, #7, & #23. These guys are FAST! #4 on the boot is about as scary as it gets and #47 is a hoss on both sides of the ball. The coaches have done a great job. As for my Hornets it is as simple as this. If the team that showed up against Verdi shows up then we can win this and if we play like we started the first half against Bartlesville then we lose by 20+. I do however feel a bit better about the Bartlesville game after watching film a few times, but even tho some things happened that were out of our control we still yet didn't play our best or close to it for the majority of the game. That cannot happen against a team like Muskogee. If we can contain and move the football then this one will be a barn burner. If not then we get what we deserve. Hopefully we show up.

Glenpool vs Ft Gibson **GOTW** (Glenpool) This game is going to come down to who all plays and how healthy they are. Until recently I had never got to see Ft Gibson play so all I could go off of was peoples opinions whom I trusted. The majority would often say "If you take #6 off of Ft Gibson they struggle to go .500." After having seen them for myself I can understand how that statement can be made, but I really don't think enough is said about his supporting cast. I seen a few impressive tackles and lead blocks. #99 is MASSIVE! Glenpool is coming off a tough loss to a really good Choctaw Blue team. After watching some film I feel like that could have been a much closer game had the officiating been a little more efficient. If Glenpool shows up healthy and ready to go this could super exciting to witness in person. If they do not get #7 to the ground it could be along day.  I think it is close either way. Send me film. I may even pay lol.

Bixby Red vs Skiatook (Bixby Red) This Bixby Red team seems to have came a long way. They have posted some impressive scores so far and this would be another good win if they pull it off. Skiatook will be a tough out for most so this has the potential to be a good game.

McAlester vs BA White (McAlester) This was a tough one for me to pick. I think McAlester is a good team and this game will help determine how good. BA white has had 2 different games to start. A really tough look against Ft Gibson and a really dominate game against Wagoner. I think they are somewhere in between and can contend for the #3 spot in our Division with a win here.  This essentially another playoff eliminator IMO. Sure a team can jump up and beat anyone in any given Saturday, but I think 2 of the 3 spots until Division are locked up with Bixby Blue and Tyaa Red. This should be a good one.

Tyaa Red vs Catoosa (Tyaa Red) I will be able to tell more about Tyaa Red after this weekend. They had an impressive showing a week ago against a tough BA Gold team. This week they line up with a Catoosa team that has had a rough start to the season. Strategy will get them ready to go no doubt, but this is a tall task for any team.

Stillwater vs Choctaw Gold (Stillwater) I just missed on getting to see Stillwater in the 2nd scrimmage set. I know nothing about either team other than Choctaw Gold has had a rough start to the season so far. Hopefully they both get a good look this week.

Berryhill vs BA Gold **GOTW** (BA Gold) I am going to lean BA Gold here, but my gut is telling me Berryhill may pull this one off. BA Gold has had a tough start to the season and I am sure they are ready to get that first W under their belt, but it doesn't get much easier against a tough Berryhill team. I feel like Berryhill may give BA Gold match-up problems on the line and likewise I feel as tho BA Gold has the speed to give Berryhill fits. Contrasting styles here and it may come down to who turns the ball over the least. Should be a good one.

Owasso Black vs BA Black (BA Black) BA Black continues their march towards recognition as one of the tougher outs in the 3rd grade as they seem to be improving every week. I haven't got to see Owasso Black yet this year.

Westmoore vs Norman (Westmoore) I know nothing of either team. We need some more West banter to fill us in.

Edmond vs Piedmont (Edmond) Again I know nothing of either team. We need some more West banter to fill us in.

As usual EPO and all in fun guys. If I can ever find the time I may try to get a Pick Em's record started. Ever since my oldest kids start JH ball I just don't have the time I used too. Best of luck to you all.

Sorry I haven't been on here in awhile. I enjoy doing write ups and chatting with you guys on here, but lately I have had my hands full. Sometimes life gives you an opportunity to help someone in need. In this case at 40 years old I was given the opportunity to help a 6 month old baby stay alive and develop into a normal child.

Almost 11 months ago I woke up to DHS calling asking my family and I to take care of a couple children that have gone through extreme trauma. After getting filled in on the details I knew this was something that would take a lot of time from my family and put our lives on hold. We had a 6 month old baby that couldn't See, Hear, or hold his head up. Had broken bones, bite on his face, and now has gone through head surgeries to drain the blood from the head. Although he can now 100% Hear, 100% See out of one eye and 70% out of the other, and motor skills are just like any other child his age; this required 3-4 Visits to the Doctor, Physical Therapy, or Mental Therapy a day. Oh and don't mention DHS, Foster Care, Homesteady, and CASA in our house numerous times a week. Although, this is something I'm very happy we were able to step in and help with, it's not anything we signed up for as we have 4 children of our own already, then you add in 2 more. The kids started their reunification process in August and will be leaving us with a bittersweet taste in October as we have become very fond of them and will miss them very much.

With that going on I was playing the role of Quality Manager and Operations Manager while going through a 3.4 Million Dollar Upgrade to our facility and several procedural and process changes. We have now hired an Operations Manager to come in help relieve me from some of those duties as for several months I was working 7 days a week. I plan on getting back into routine of doing weekly write ups as I do enjoy those, I just wanted to give an update as I have had a lot of people message me. For those of you, thanks for checking up on me. Very much Appreciated.

Looks like some interesting games to say the least. I know the Red Bulldogs are licking their chops, I sure would be ;D  This schedule to finish out the season is brutal, but at this point I'll be happy just to have enough kids to play in the PST Tournament.

Good Luck everyone and stay safe!
