A battle of the unbeaten teams to decide on who goes to the PST championship undefeated. I will be in attendance this evening and I imagine it will be a great game to watch. Both teams sport stud backs that could be in the best of the league. #1 for Wagoner is a game changer and is tough to bring down. Their Oline blocks well and imposes their will on the opponent like some of the best teams in 3rd grade. Bixby has #20 in the backfield who at any time can hit the edge and leave you in the dust. I think that will be the key, and if that edge is there then Bixby wins. I live in Bixby and my stepson plays for the boys in blue so I’ve got to pick the Spartans.

Owasso Black vs Catoosa Green
This match up is intriguing, and surprising. Catoosa my hats off to these coaches and players for absolutely bringing it this PST. It goes to show why/what this tournament is really about. Teams that may not have put it together from the start of the season can start to gel late in the year and find their rhythm.  That is green in my opinion. Watch out for the passing attack! Bring in the Rams. Now I’m an assistant for Owhite so this could seem like a homer pick but I’m certainly impressed with how will this team does what they do. #7 is an athlete to be respected and can break one on any down. They run their offense fluidly and on D the LBs fly to the ball. Gotta go with my rams on this one.

BA Gold vs Skiatook

Here is matchup of veteran coaches with teams that aren’t far off in similarities. Skiatook has a couple backs in #2 and #14 that can hurt you and they are very creative in how they mix up getting them the rock. That D gave us fits as well when we weren’t shooting ourselves in the foot so I know they can hold their own. Bring in Gorilla and his gold tigers. They handed us our 2nd worse loss of the season back in week 2. Really opened our eyes as to how much work we needed to do and I respect their backs speed and the way their LBs come off the edge. Could be the funnest game to watch of the PST. That being said I think the bulldogs hit a swing pass for a late TD to win.
