Ya. The officiating wasn’t very good for the ba Orange/Berryhill game. Tough when you have 1 ref for the first half. 1 guy can only see the obvious holding/delay of game penalties. Other than that, good game. If there is a better player than #20 for ba Orange, I wanna see him. Best runner we’ve seen and sure tackler. Not much gets by him.

I’m going to say a couple words about the Bixby Blue v. Lincoln Christian game.
We got our butt beat and props to the LC players.

#10 for LC is a stud and one of the strongest runners in 2nd grade.
Props to the LC offensive coaches for being able to run no huddle in 2nd grade.
That’s where my positivity stops.

In 30 years of being involved with football at just about every level I have never seen more bush league play by a defensive line. I watched 2 films on LC in preparation, I’m still amazed and shocked the INFC lets their Dline dive at the centers knees.
Their coaches claim they are slanting A gap but that’s a crock  especially when players dive at the knees of the center. If you need help teaching players how to slant let me know.

I know nothing will be done bc the head of officials at INFC is a LC parent but this type of coaching is one of the many reason kids are leaving the sport.

Anyone who plays Lincoln Christian protect your players!!

This is very true I made many comments at our game. The coach for LC laughed at me every time and nothing was done. LC has a very potent offense with tons of athletes. But I agree the "cutting" "slanting" whatever is very dangerous at any level but even more so at this level.

I would like to know which team allowed them to not weigh in players to be honest and how they thought it was ok to do? This isn't 7th grade where teams can do that with the 1 and 2 strippers.

And on top of that Football Fan 1 / CowetaBlack, what's going to happen is a kid gets hurt really bad by, as was mentioned in the "Ask Ref" section, "Superman Dives" that target players knees and shins and the parent's sue the league for allowing that to take place whenever it doesn't happen at any other level.  Kid can take a knee to the helmet and get a concussion also.  IMO

"Wasn't very good", that is sugar coating it.  One ref for the first half?  Only see the obvious?  I guess Berryhill had no obvious penalties in the first half because he only saw the obvious penalties against BA.  Then there is the second half.  He continued to see penalties against BA but not Berryhill and the second ref never threw a flag.  Holding, delay of game????  Holding can be called on every play at this age, and delay of game is hardly ever enforced at this age.  We won so it is pointless to argue officiating but today was terrible.  Then only penalty against Berryhill was an obvious pass interference (he tackled the receiver) but that was offset with a holding against BA, again, holding, see above.  With all that said I guess there is the chance that Berryhill just played a perfect game today??

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!! DID YOU ACTUALLY SAY THEY CALLED "PASS INTERFERENCE"??!!! I was told at the first of the season that pass interference would never get called in the regular season games and maybe only in the Championship game if it may determine the game! Well at least you got that one when no one else seems to get it called...LMAO!!

When the receiver is tackled when he is obviously going to make the catch I think the call has to be made.  But no worries, it was offset by the easy hold which happens on EVERY play at this age.
