TYAA RedDogs vs Hilldale
« on: November 04, 2020, 12:06:42 am »
What I just watched on tape of our game tonight vs Hilldale was completely out of line & there is no place for that type of play on the football field. Especially since most coaches/parents speak so highly of you coach Shaffer5! #5 for us RedDogs plays hard, he’s smart & aggressive but in NO WAY IS A DIRTY PLAYER!!!! Your number #66 literally grabbed #5 by the face mask with both hands & spun him around to the ground over 10 times, with no attempt at all to actually block him! I understand an accidental face mask while blocking, I played left tackle! But to grab an opponents face mask intentionally, & purposefully & to pull & yank the facemask or helmet until the opponent falls down is outrageous!

First off brother there were 2 refs on the field and we didn't have 1 single flag thrown for any of what you are talking about so if it was that blatant and it wasn't called then you need to take it up with the officiating crew. Secondly we had multiple kids who stated the same thing about their facemasks getting pulled by kids on your team. It is an unfortunate part of the game and one of the reasons refs have flags. The kid you are referring to is in fact just that a kid and a 1st year kid who started late at that. He was told 1 time by a ref to stay off the head, but he wasn't coached to do that either way. Your opinion of me isn't going to change what I do. You was all out of whack because poor little ol Hilldale basically moved the ball on you at will. #5 for you guys is definitely a really good ball player, but my advice to you is to worry about who you got coming up this next game because it is probably going to be a long day coach. As a matter of fact I might bring some cough drops because that throat is gonna be sore!!  If you think you was getting excited last night I got a feeling you are going to be getting super excited on Sunday. I don't know what the actual intention of your post was, but hopefully it achieved your goal and made your dreams come true. I will never understand why some of you guys cry so much.  Congrats on your win coach. I would start watching film of my next opponent now.

If #12 makes weight like I’m hearing Red won’t have too much of a problem winning the game and I believe with 5days til the game he will make weight due to him being about 1 pound over but it’ll be on the coaches to make sure he in the back field
