Three Points.  First you are right I know nothing about 2nd grade mm.  Secondly I put up teams I have never seen to get the forum going.  Thirdly no Hilldale because it sounds like they are already mentally defeated by the mighty TYAA organization.  Tyaa at all levels have been dominant for decades, some of the most awesome athletes I have ever seen play youth ball.  In all reality we all know it is a TYAA championship I just like to find out who is terrified of them and who actually wants to compete with them.

Lol! Terrified huh? We  have a massive amount of respect for the Tyaa schools and other schools & Coaches we have been to battle with or know personally. I would like to quote Fundamentals when he said "you left off the only team that beat Tyaa Black last yr". That would be Hilldale Red.  With that being said everytime those boys touch the ball you get anxious as a Coach. You never feel safe with a lead until the Final buzzer blows. Terrified? Absolutely not. Healthy respect? Absolutely!  I would recommend you learn some because if you are with BA Silver then you are in Tyaa Black's Division.  You will learn 1st hand.  Hopefully your Head Coach reels ya in a bit lol.

I am honored that they are in our division.  Love watching great athletes.  Yes as a first year all drafted team we will have lessons to learn that is for sure.  Just don't under estimate these little fellers They are starting to respond.  Once the light bulb comes on I promise they will compete.

We don't underestimate ANYONE. As I have already stated we respect EVERYONE. I love the convo tho. Nothing wrong with being confident. I am still curious to see what Norman, Stillwater, & Edmond are bringing to the table. There are some sleeper teams  nobody has talked much about as well. These scrimmages this week will include Collinsville and I am sure they will grab some attention. #7 is one of the best backs in this age group. I have been impressed with alot of young men so far early this season. #20 for Coweta White is one of the best defensive players I have seen so far and #7 for Pryor is also a little ball player.

i cant speak for the other tyaa teams but as far as black is concern last year is out the window even tho our core group from last year is back the other half of the team is new and if had to rank the top teams besides the tyaa teams it be
1a: hilldale red
1b: bixby red
those two teams are absolute monsters and very capable of beating anybody
3: bixby blue
very good team wit a dynamic tailback
4: colinsville red
we were lucky to see them early in the year before they got their rhythm

this is no disrespect to any other teams those are the teams i seen play the best last year in the playoffs the top 2 teams are the only teams that scored on us during the regular season wit hilldale beating us 21-20 and us over bixby 27-7 but in the semifinals we barely nudge past bkxby red 13-7 stoping them at the 1 yrd line.

but again new year so im loving the respect but we will be out to earn that same respect again this year

 LoL, oh boy. I am the head coach of BA Silver. I will say right now that we have respect for every single team out there regardless of what has been achieved in the past. I am fortunate to be surrounded  by a coaching staff with so much knowledge of the game. I may be wrong, wouldn't be the first time and not the last, but I can guarantee that there no more than 2 or 3 teams with the years of coaching experience we have if that many. Will that translate into wins and losses? Time will tell but our team will be ready to give it everything they got no matter who the opponent is. As far as reeling my coach in a little bit Shaffer, LoL, not a chance, I don't see that he's done anything wrong. Read the posts this year so far. Wasn't too long ago people were complaining there wasn't any talk going on. Man has that changed. I believe someone insinuated my coach was butthurt. LoL, over some preseason rankings that don't mean squat? We could care less about any rankings. We barely know anything about the other teams. Appears to me others are getting "butthurt". Coach just got people fired up and talking. That's what people were wanting. TYAA (all teams), Bixby, Collinsville, Hilldale Red. You have our 100% admiration and respect. Silver ain't got nothing either. I wish everyone a great season free of injury. Let's coach these kids up and have some fun!! Go Silver!! Go BA

Lol I see. Well you reap what ya sow. No worries here. I love the talk! Don't go getting "butt hurt"  when Tyaa Black post the actual score of the game instead of the 28-0 minimum.  I respect your confidence and your support of your Coach but, since you can't understand how ludicrous his statement was it sounds like you will have to learn 1st hand. Hope all those yrs of Coaching experience translate to wins for you guys. I truly do love the banter! Best of luck!

Now we are having some fun! LOL This is all in good fun and hope you coaches keep it that way for the boys.  As far as ridiculous statements, we haven't said we can beat any of the top ten teams much less a TYAA team.  As far as butt hurt don't worry about us no hard feelings if we get out played by a large number.  Heck the two coach's that drafted this team don't even have a kid on the team.  We decided to help out the youth in BA and we believe in instilling confidence even if unrealistic.  Yes this group is way behind being a new team but they will be ready for any and all challenges.  Even with a few blowouts they will keep their heads high and continue getting better.  We are in a perfect situation if we get blown out, we are supposed to.  If we play close or pull off some upsets we can shock the world!
