Top 10 Post Week 4
Remember this is where I see the teams at this point as everyone will have their own point of view. There are some teams I see on here that I think can beat teams above them and there are some I think teams below them can beat them as well, but on Big Games you have to show up and show out. I also believe there are a few teams that it doesn't matter where you rank them as they can beat anyone at any time.1. Muskogee (4-0) - Beat 3 top teams, not much more to say.2. TYAA Blue (3-0-1) - Champs, still undefeated, but added a tie to their record so they get dinged down to #2.
3. Bixby Blue (3-0-1) - Tied the champs, only reason they're #3 and not #2 or tied with #2 is because they didn't win the ship last year and they tied the champs so the Champs stay on top.
4. Broken Arrow White (3-1) - Still taking care of business. Ball carriers all over the field.
5. Fort Gibson (4-0) - I don't usually rank a team this high because of 1 player, but I hear he is the best in this grade. Still need to see for myself though.
6. Skiatook (3-1) - Lost to my #1 team, ranked 6th here, but I still think they can go head to head with any team in this league. Skiatook will be scary in November, don't sleep.
7. Sapulpa (4-0) - Probably feeling a little disrespected at #7 and rightfully so as they have done everything right to this point. This week is where the rest of the observers will be able to distinguish where this Sapulpa team stands as they play the League Standard
8. TYAA White (2-2) - I had the chance to see a little film on TYAA this year and I do like what I see. #8 is a player for sure. Although they are 2-2, they are very close to being 4-0.
9. Lincoln Christian (4-0) - Lincoln has the 2nd best offense in the league with 152 points scored and the 3rd best defense allowing only 6 points. Waiting for competition.
10. Sand Springs Black (3-1) - Still a top 10 team even after Fort Gibson beat them, this team has some weapons.
In the Mix - TYAA Red (3-1) - I may be really misreading this team, I think after this week it will help me determine where they are with Sapulpa. I like them a lot though, just haven't seen them this year. Heard they have some big linemen to go with that #12, but I need to know how they play.
In the Mix - Union (3-0) - I know I know, very disrespectful. I want to see how they do against 2-1 SS Gold. I have seen this team play and they look really good against Owasso Red.....
In the Mix - Choctaw Gold (4-0) - Hard for me to rank anyone out of this side of the state unless they were the same team as last year. I know coach put the 1st Graders spread out through the Choctaw Teams and moved some of his last year players to the other teams too so there are too many questions left on the table. I am curious to see how they do against Yukon White though.
Peaking Interest - Bartlesville (3-1) - Last year they weren't even talked about. I believe they have added some players and I believe the coach is doing a good job there. Nice turn around coach. Still though, the loss to Jenks and close game with BA Platinum has me holding this team back for now.
Peaking Interest - Berryhill Gold (3-1) - They have a few good players that are keeping them going. Broken Arrow White put the gas on and never touched the breaks on this team. They seem to take care of business with the easier teams though.
