I’m sure #78 will gain some more weight by next year but when he wants to play he is a beast. Too bad that wasn’t the championship game bc Glenpool and Wolfpack were the best teams.

Wont lie. All the.talk all season I wanted to see claremore on the field. Absolute battle today.  Kids from both sides fought hard and glenpool came out on top but closest gsme of year. Absolute mad respect to Claremore. They are well coached with tough kids. I wont admit this but possibly tougher than our boys. Great game and love that Claremore team. Good luck years to come

Real quick - I just wanted to say congrats to Glenpool for an incredible win at the tournament and hope that it helped salvage the playoff issue! We played that Wolfpack team in first round and still don't know how anyone could have stopped #78. We figured he was big enough to drive himself to the tournament lol - hope there wasn't too serious of an injury.

Most importantly, I need to give huge thanks to Coach Bell with the Catoosa team for letting my boy come in at the last minute. I hope we were able to contribute for the team in some positive ways. It was like drinking from a fire hydrant to get him to learn that offense starting Thursday night, but we definitely did a crash course and I saw him start to comprehend it a bit better as the tournament progressed. Coach Bell - you are a wonderful human being and a delight to know (and a great Dad to Roman). Those boys and that community are lucky to have you and we hope to somehow be around you guys more. You do an outstanding job!

Lastly, I want to thank Mark with the UYFA for letting my son in a little late. I appreciate him understanding the circumstances of our late entry and being willing to let the kid have fun and compete. I also want to thank Coach Newton at Jenks for trying to help us get with a team that late.

All of you were great and it was really awesome to see these boys go out and play at such a high level of competition and find more passion for the game in the process.

Here's to the end of MM and moving on to 3rd with 11 man. Should only get more exciting as we watch them all grow up and mature into the game
