@Jchaney3285 it’s easy to win games when you steal talent from the grade above you and below you. Instead of coaching kids up Jim Chaney wants other coaches to do it then cherry pick their teams. Due to four boys quiting his team due to poor coaching and unsafe situations he took the starting quarterback and center from the grade underneath him. Clear abuse of a board member and bias by the skiatook board.

918TTown you must be a parent that quit. I have personally Coached with Jim and nothing was unsafe nor was it bad coaching in my opinion and I’m sure I’m not alone he is a top 3 coach in this league. This site ain’t for your damn drama if you got a problem you should probably pick the phone up and quit hiding behind a screen name.

I over heard that bixby blue May have a illegal player on their team idk how true it is but has anyone else heard that kid from north Tulsa plays for that team a good lineman could be fake news

I have personally coached with Jim! He is a good friend of mine and someone I trust completely! Jim is a honest but upfront coach and has been since his kid play Kindergarten. Jim calls a spade a spade and most people can’t handle that. Especially if it’s about their kid. I was lucky enough to coach #85 and I can tell you that if you think Jim needs to cherry pick teams to win games you clearly don’t know much about football or you believe in Daddy ball! I have coached with Jim and their isn’t a guy in the entire INFC I would rather coach with than Jim. He is committed, honest and willing to put in the work! Skiatook is lucky to have him and that family!

You take #85 off that team they don’t win 5 games! That’s the difference #85 makes. Kid has best technique in the grade and that technique came from his dad!!

Next time you make a post at least put your name out their so everyone knows who you are! Don’t hide behind the keyboard!

To whomever wants to hide behind their keyboard and have verbal diarrhea about Jim Chaney and his coaching staff in Skiatook truly needs there head examined. JC is one of the most committed coaches I have seen. Safety.....we have had parent meetings about player safety so your claim of unsafe practices is bogus. Safety has been on the forefront of his mind and the entire staff. That guy has poured hours upon hours of time into the Skiatook Football program. It’s easy to “coach” from your computer. Come step up and get into game.

Well I’m just going off what I heard today also the kid is supposed to play in his right grade he supposed to play with 3rd grade some how he’s in the 2nd I’m just saying bud I didn’t mean to hurt feelings on here talking about your team this was at bixbys game today soooo have a meeting

Coach Jimbo u might be talking about the kid from glenpool heard he still attends that school but there’s way around that wit INFC approval but no sure how that went and the kid from Tulsa also has a older brother who plays 7th or 8th grade I believe not sure if they live in bixby or attend the school but once again INFC makes exceptions for certain situations so possible bixby could be illegal or legit

I don’t know all of what’s going on at Skiatook, but I can tell you one thing is for sure and that’s if you truly believe Jim doesn’t know how to coach his kids then your letting your daddy goggles make you oblivious to what a good coach Jim really is. I have seen this many times and if you think for one minute that Jim isn’t a good coach then your going to get hit with a reality check once your son gets coached by another coach if you are an upset parent.

I’ll tell you what I saw today was Kids firing off the ball, hitting gaps, driving and shucking kids to the ball carrier, LBs scraping through blocks to tackles. A QB executing the play likes it’s suppose too and RBs Lead Blocking where they’re suppose to and driving the defender out of the way. A center snapping the ball without putting it on the ground. I can’t recall a single turnover and when Skiatook was on defense the corner contained the outside and made great leg tackles.

I don’t know what your talking about him not being able to coach as everyone of his kids had assignments and executing them to perfection. His team wasn’t sloppy at all and they never are, I think it’s pretty absurd to get on her and tell a bunch of people Jim has coached against and coach with and say he doesn’t coach his kids up.

Not would I only say he is a top 3 coach, but there isn’t any coach better than him in this grade. There are some great coaches in this great, but none better than him. Same level yes, better no.

I really hope you find peace with yourself because all this nonsense really hurts is the kids. None of this will matter come HS or even Junior High. They won’t remember records or anything like that, all they remember is good times with the parents and coaches and all the stuff they were taught.
