This thread was about standouts!!!

Cmon people. Crying about kids being held back, and classless parents..... SMH.

Pump your brakes!

7-8 year olds is the right age for 2nd grade. And no they don’t hold kids back to win a 2nd grade championship. They do it for later on down the road for when it actually counts so they are a step ahead.

The only classless parents I see are the ones who get upset when the other teams cheer there kids on and are so jealous and mad that they have nothing to cheer about.

You have to be trolling for an argument!! I think it’s pretty classless for you to come on a forum and down 2nd grade players and parents for cheering them on. Your team had a way bigger line than our team yet you don’t hear anyone complaining about how you have kids that are held back because it’s 2nd grade football and we don’t really care. These are 2nd graders, no one is going to the NFL or making money off of 2nd graders to hold them back just for football. We have the same players we had last year with two additions.

Now let’s get to the point of real football talk. Collinsville Columbia looked great. They have some big players that seem well discipline and talented defensively. They are going to be a team to look out for.
Jerks looked great but has a lot of kids which at this age is kind of rough since everyone has to play 2 quarters. They have a really fast kid I think he was #27(not sure).

This was the first week of scrimmages, every team will continue to get better as the weeks progress.

South tulsa looked a little rusty but that’s ok we will be ready when the season starts.

It’s officially football time. Let’s have fun while being competitive!!!

You guys still have Bo (#44)? Most impressive kid i seen last year. Never seen a 1st grader drop a shoulder to run through players like he did in our Championship play off game.
