Division #3 Breakdown after week 2
« on: September 13, 2021, 01:36:24 pm »
Div. 3 (OKC Area)

#1 Choctaw Gold – I like this team. They are built for success. They have athletes all over the field. Balanced offense, throwing and running the ball everywhere. They have a solid coaching staff to go with it. Putting huge points over the Union Red (I heard 49 points). We didn’t get to scrimmage them but they are solid. My opinion they are no doubt a top 10 team. Just let the scores proof me wrong.

#2 Yukon – This is my team and I only place us here cause we haven’t dealt with adversity just yet. Choctaw Gold beat Westmoore 13-7 in week one and we are unbeaten thus far is the only reason. My boys have worked their tails off day in and day out. We are not flashy but but we will earn everything and we will get the job done. We have size and speed to match up with anyone. Yukon will be a threat no doubt.

#3 Westmoore – Guys this team is scary good. They remind me of the TYAA teams back home. They are big and they are fast. I love the passion the coaches put into these kids. At the scrimmages before the season they definitely caught my attention. These boys also should be in most top 10’s. They are good!

#4 Edmond – Not high on these boys just yet. We will see them in a couple weeks and will have more of a report then. They did surprise me with beating Choctaw Blue 6-0. We were able to scrimmage these boys and they are big up front but just like my team that day they needed to iron out a few things. They have a little bit of speed but more than most teams out there.

#5 Choctaw Blue – Only reason I have them at #5 is because they came up short in Edmond. They are pretty darn good team. They have some talent over there for sure. They are the 2nd best Choctaw Team for sure. They have have Westmoore this week and Choctaw Gold the following week. Their record will not reflect how good this team really is till the end of the season.

#6 Piedmont Blue – We played this team last week and they have some talent. That QB is a good one to watch out for. They have some size no doubt. If I remember correctly the coach told me it was their first season so watch out for these guys in the near future.

#7 Choctaw White – Third best Choctaw Team in my opinion with some talent. I believe if they can get their gears oiled they could move up one spot. Guess we will have to see.

#8 Norman – These guys are tiny from what I can remember from the scrimmages earlier this season. Don’t see these guys moving up this season. They do have a shot with my #9 team.

#9 Piedmont White – These guys needed a lot of work. Its also their first season so there is plenty of room to move up. Only see these guys competing with Norman
