Top 10 After Week 4 ~
« on: September 23, 2019, 10:04:13 am »
Now were starting to get a better idea of how the teams stack up. There are still a few teams that could be added to this list that are not on it, but I'm trying to use a little of what I know about the teams, but more on what their record states about them. I still have TYAA Blue on top with Skiatook under them followed by TYAA Red and four teams that are 4-0.

#1 TYAA Blue (3-0-1) - Still have them at the top even though they ended their last game in a tie with another undefeated team. #7 on this team reminds me a lot of #12 on TYAA Red. Tough tough kids that will light you up. TYAA Blue is fast and aggressive, but they play football like it's suppose to be played. I don't see too many teams being able to hang with them like Skiatook did last week, but I'll get to see first hand this week when we play them at their house.

#2 Skiatook (3-0-1) - Can't say enough about the coaching of these boys. They will not be the most talented team on the field each week, but that's balanced out by the coaching on the field. This is the only team that has beaten us this year and it wasn't because we had less talent, we simply got out coached. Don't get me wrong though, #5 and #85 are two tough boys to deal with for sure.

#3 TYAA Red (3-0-1) - Possibly could be #1 or #2 as well, they equally have the talent and coaches of the other 2. #12 and #98 both play great ball, if you can't block them then you probably won't score.

#4 Choctaw Gold (4-0) - I don't know a lot about them, but I have a hunch that they're going to give everyone hell come Playoff time.

#5 Bixby Blue (4-0) - They have beaten a TYAA White Team by 1 point and a Glenpool Blue team by 1 point. They are showing up and playing good ball each week and could be #4, but I just need to see them play to get a better idea of them. Who knows, they may be the team who wins it all.

#6 Broken Arrow White (4-0) -  Maybe this week against Muskogee Green it will give me a better idea of where this team is at. Whoever did their scheduling needs a gold star as it has helped them develop very well these last 4 weeks. Nevertheless they're 4-0 and haven't been scored on, could be #4 or #5 team as well.

#7 Lincoln Christian (4-0) - Sand Springs this week will help us learn a little with this team.

#8 Muskogee White (4-0) - I know they have a fast Defense that flys to the ball and a speedy back. They get their chance to play TYAA Blue here in a couple weeks.

#9 Muskogee Green (3-1) - Ok........I admit....I was wrong, they're better than I thought they were. They lost 13-7 to TYAA Red last week and I thought it was going to be worse, but they played a good close game. I saw them play TYAA Black, but I would like to see them play again. Keep it up, playoff times they will be ready.

#10 Sand Springs (3-1) - Another tough 3-1 team, they have Lincoln Christian this week, should be a tough game. Lots of talk about both teams.

1. TYAA Blue- Got their first real test of the season last week the outcome proves that there is at least 1 team that can play with them if they meet up again would be a great battle.

2. BA White- They still haven’t allowed a single touchdown this season, but that could all change this week against a really good Muskogee Green team.

3. Skiatook- Proved that they are the real deal, held their own against a great team last week confidence is probably through the roof look out for this team.

4. Bixby Blue- I really like this team but giving up 19 points to Glenpool Blue surprised me. Not taking anything away from GP Blue i don’t know how the game played out but going forward BIXBY BLUE will need to allow less points in order to go deep into the playoffs #21 is good for 3 or 4 TDs against any team he’s that good, but can they do that and stop the good teams from scoring????🤷🏻‍♂️

5. Lincoln Christian - This is a really good team the next few weeks will tell us how good i wouldn’t be surprised if they win out.

6. TYAA Red- Passed their first real test last week BA white will probably end the only team left to give them a few problems i wish i could go to that game.

7. Muskogee White

8. TYAA White

9. Muskogee Green

10. Choctaw Gold

@Gameplan Great Top Ten BUT......I don't think a game that ends in a tie tells you anything at all about a team.. Facts of the matter is over 10 fumble snaps due to the rain all recovered, 1 first down the whole game by the other team so i was told and yes no HC at the game and you come out with a tie 6-6🤣😂🤣😂. That's a good brand (TYAA) win for Skiatook but in TYAA BULLDOG LAND a tie is like a Lost!!! @Strategy we will be ready and hungry Saturday!

*sigh* OKAY..............just better hope they don't get caught up eating puppy chow out of my cheerleaders hands. Would be embarrassing if a group of cheerleaders hung with the big dogs. Just sayin

Haven't got to see everyone play in person yet, but here is where I see the top ten at this point.

#1 TYAA Blue (3-0-1) - Best defense I have seen hands down. These kids are very well coached they know where to be and they fly to the ball on defense.  # 7 is a game changer thats for sure if you play them you better have an answer for him.

#2 Lincoln Christian (4-0) - In my opinion this is another solid team that will be there in the end with a chance at it all.

#3 Skiatook (3-0-1) - Very Proud of my boys to this point.  They have worked really hard and continue to get better with every practice.  For only having two kids that have ever played they have exceeded my expectations.  Im blessed to be able to coach this group of kids.

#4 TYAA Red (3-0-1) - This team seems to be gaining ground.  Just talking to other coaches they seem to have a couple of game changers.

#5 Broken Arrow White (4-0) - I got to watch them play first hand this past weekend.  They have a lot of talent #8 stood out to me at defensive end. They were playing Wagoner and they seem to be a really young group of kids.  Not taking anything away From BA White, but I need to see them play someone with matching talent to see how they respond.

#6 Choctaw Gold (4-0) - Disciplined group of kids, and very well coached they are going to be a tough team down the stretch.

#7 Bixby Blue (4-0) - They about got upset this weekend by the Glenpool Blue team. They have one of the top runnings in the grade thats for sure. 10/5 when they play LC will tell us all a lot more about them.

#8 Muskogee White (4-0) - Personally got to watch them play this past weekend against BA Black.  They have a lot of speed they are going to get better and better as the season continues.

#9 Sand Springs (3-1) - This team is a solid ball team #22 can run.  #5 is a game changer on defense for this group.  They are going to get to see where they are at this weekend against LC.

#10 Muskogee Green (3-1) - This team has some speed and some hitters as well.  They are going to get a chance to move up if they can beat BA White this weekend.

Not taking anything away from the other teams. Here are some other teams that could get in this top ten bye the end of the season.

Catoosa- One of the hardest schedules I have seen.  3 of the top 5 in the first five weeks.  They are well coached and have a good group of kids over there.

TYAA White- This team seems to be a solid group and If they can knock of Glenpool blue, Sand Springs, and LC then I can see them moving up in the Top ten.

Glenpool Blue- If they can play like they did against Bixby blue this weekend and against LC then I think they move into the mix.  No one should over look this group of kids they have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball.  They also have great coaching and will be ready to play this weekend.

Just goin off of what I’ve heard! I havnt seen everyone play!
1. Tyaa Blue -Havnt Seen them  play but everyone says their worthyof the #1 spot
2.Skiatook -Just cause they tied with blue and beat a good catoosa team
3. B A white - undefeated and haven’t got scored on  on as of now but I think this will change against a tough Muskogee green team! # 7 and # 23 are hard to deal with! Can’t wait to hear the outcome of This one
4.Tyaa Red - Improving every week and got passa good Muskogee team this past weekend but looking forward to playing B. A white in a couple weeks
5. Bixby blue- One most versatile kids you will see on offense in 1st grade and the put up a lot of points , but can they get stops?🤔 undefeated still but barely
6.L.C. -Havnt seen them but I hear good things and they are undefeated! But that could change this weekend
7. Muskogee Green -The best 1 loss team you will ever play! #7 is on another level in defense and offense all ima say  is rap up and hold on 😂😂😂! Good luck B.A. white 👀👀
8.Catoosa green - tough group of kids and they have played a tough schedule the first few weeks but that will help them when it come playoff time! Good luck blocking #98
9.Tyaa white- Havnt seen them play but the lost by 1 point to bixby blue and that’s their only loss! Better keep your eyes on this team when playoffs hit
10. Muskogee White- havnt seen them either but they are undefeated so they must be good! We will see soon when they play Tyaa blue
