Pick'ems Week 7! ~
« on: October 10, 2019, 08:53:13 am »
Well it's already week 7 now, it's been a short season so far and Wrestling/Basketball is right around the corner. All the teams are getting better and we're getting a better idea of how everyone matches up. Good Luck everyone this week, post em up EPO.

Division 1

Choctaw Gold (6-0 ???) @ Choctaw Blue ( ???) - Choctaw Gold

Norman ( ???) @ Yukon ( ???) - Yukon

Division 2

Coweta (0-6) @ Hilldale (2-4) - Tough last couple games for Hilldale. They win convincingly here and go to 3-4. Hilldale

Broken Arrow White (6-0) @ Glenpool White (0-6) - BA White works on their triple reverse pass for Playoffs. Broken Arrow White

Wagoner (3-3) @ Muskogee Green (4-2) - A chance for Wagoner to knock a top team off and get their name out there. Taking the Green Machine here.....Muskogee Green

Bixby Red (3-3) @ TYAA Red (5-0-1) - TYAA Red gets their team ready for Broken Arrow White next week. Bixby Red has shown a lot of signs of improvement since beginning of the season, but I still think they have some maturing to do to play play TYAA Red. TYAA Red

Division 3

Catoosa Green (3-2-1) @ Owasso (1-5) -  Catoosa Green! LETS PLAY!

Broken Arrow Gold (4-2) @ Sequoyah (0-5-1) - Broken Arrow Gold has gotten better as a team these last few weeks and they come away with another win here to make them 5-2 going into the game with Skiatook next week. Broken Arrow Gold

Skiatook (5-0-1) @ Bartlesville (0-6) - After last weeks game only losing by a few points it seems Bartlesville is showing signs of improvement. Unfortunately, they play Skiatook and they will need a miracle. Bartlesville has a couple decent players including one big boy on the line, but they have a lot of kids who look like they're in Kindergarten so Kudos to the coach for coaching those boys and getting better each week. Skiatook

TYAA Blue (5-0-1) @ Collinsville (1-4-1) - Collinsville has a tough little group here, but this score may get out of hand. We played this group last week and they play hard every play, but as long as TD's don't get called back or fumbles don't occur at the 1 yard line then I believe this game will be a run away for TYAA Blue. TYAA Blue

Division 4

Muskogee White (5-1-0) @ Verdigris (2-2-2) I got a chance to see this Verdigris team and they have a good team, their only issue is they don't have that one kid that really gets them down field. Don't get me wrong they have a couple good ball players, but not one that picks up the slack for their young kids. Muskogee White got their first loss last week against TYAA Blue, lets see how they bounce back. Muskogee White

Catoosa Black (1-5) @ Claremore (2-3-1) - Should be a good ball game and Claremore does have their player back. They came out and tied a one loss Broken Arrow Black team last week in his first week back, I expect him to be more comfortable this game, but Catoosa Black has been getting better each week. I think they get a late TD to win this one. Catoosa Black

Broken Arrow Black (3-1-2) @ TYAA Black (4-2) -  GAME OF THE WEEK!! Should be a good ball game, but TYAA Black has too much speed. I also like their coach, he is a no excuse, no trash talk, line up and play guy. Broken Arrow Black has a running back that can move on the field and they played Muskogee White to a 13 point game. I think this will be a close game, but TYAA Black comes out ahead. TYAA Black

Division 5

Broken Arrow Platinum (0-6) @ Sand Springs (4-2) - I have become a fan of this team, when you hear there are 15 kids on a team and they're sitting at 4-2, well unless you have been there and had to coach 15 kids on 1 team in Mighty Mite then you don't understand the difficulties of it. It's like coaching a game in a game, there is so much going against you. Not only are you sitting your best players half the game, but you also have to coach 2 kids per position. 2 centers, 2 QB's (Unless you keep him in the whole game). This isn't easy to do. Sand Springs

Lincoln Christian (6-0) @ Glenpool Blue (3-3) - GAME OF THE WEEK #2!! Lincoln Christian had a convincing win last week over Bixby Blue. They play a tough Glenpool Blue team this week. As good as Lincoln Christian is, this will still be a close game as long as Glenpools HC is there. I see Lincoln Winning this game by 6. Lincoln Christian

Sapulpa (2-4) @ Bixby Blue (5-1) - So Sapulpa went from 15 kids to 9-10 in a matter of a couple weeks?  ??? What's going on over there, is this true? If so that means they could be ready to compete by Playoffs. Sapulpa has a good line, but Bixby Blue has a lot of speed on the outside. I have Bixby Blue winning this game by 12. Bixby Blue

TYAA White (4-2) @ Berryhill (1-4-1) - Berryhill just doesn't score enough points, they will need to get into that endzone more often to win this ball game. TYAA White has a tough last part of their schedule with Sand Springs and Lincoln Christian coming up. They win this one by 13 TYAA White

Good Luck, sorry for the late Pick'ems, get yours in.

Division 1: Choctaw Gold -28....

Division 2

Coweta (0-6) @ Hilldale (2-4) - These Hornets can do things that most teams wouldn't have the stones to attempt in 1st grade and they do it well. This game will be over by halftime.

: Hilldale -28

Broken Arrow White (6-0) @ Glenpool White (0-6) - Triple reverse pass?? Strategy found my playbook that I have a bad habit of leaving at the field lol. I don't know about a pass but I do have a super secret play where I have one of my boys who is a karate champion start yelling at the defense to look at him while he dazzles them with his karate moves while we run down the field the opposite way! It's called Deere In The Headlights and has worked 100% of the time in practice.

: BA White  8)

Wagoner (3-3) @ Muskogee Green (4-2) - Wagoner is playing better and having fun but I don't think they will have fun with this Muskogee Green group this weekend. #7 will look like a man among boys and do whatever he wants this game.

: Muskogee Green -28

Bixby Red (3-3) @ TYAA Red (5-0-1) - TYAA Red might be looking ahead to nexts week game with my boys and come out flat while Bixby Red is playing their best football all year. Lee Corso might put on his Spartan headgear for this pickem but he's lookin crazier and crazier each year.

: TYAA Red - 14

Division 3

Catoosa Green (3-2-1) @ Owasso (1-5) -  Catoosa Green is a much better team than their record suggests as they have arguably played the toughest schedule in 1st grade. It blows me away that Owasso only fielded one team this year and has struggled.

:Catoosa Green -28

Broken Arrow Gold (4-2) @ Sequoyah (0-5-1) - BA Gold has no problems here and has a pizza party after each turnover. Get your wallet ready coach because those boys are hungry!

: BA Gold -21

Skiatook (5-0-1) @ Bartlesville (0-6) - Skiatook is preparing for a deep post season run and won't hold back this week as Bartlesville will no answers for these boys. Over by halftime.

: Skiatook -28

TYAA Blue (5-0-1) @ Collinsville (1-4-1) - TYAA Blue brings it each and every game and will have no issues this week. Collinsville boys always play hard and their coach will have them ready but they will struggle to match up with any of TYAA Blue's boys.

: TYAA Blue -28

Division 4

Muskogee White (5-1) @ Verdigris (2-2-2) - Muskogee White is a really good team and they will be mad and ready to get back on the winning track after last weeks tough first loss. Verdigris better be ready because you know Muskogee White will be.

: Muskogee White -28

Catoosa Black (1-5) @ Claremore (2-3-1) - Don't know much about either team but Claremore shutting out BA Black is enough for me to give them the nod this week.

: Claremore -14

Broken Arrow Black (3-1-2) @ TYAA Black (4-2) -  BA Black is a better team than people give them credit for and TYAA Black is young. I think it will be a good game but BA pulls this one out.

: BA Black -6

Division 5

Broken Arrow Platinum (0-6) @ Sand Springs (4-2) - Hate picking against BA but Sand Springs is just too much for them this week.

: Sand Springs -28

Lincoln Christian (6-0) @ Glenpool Blue (3-3) - Glenpool Blue is better than their record and are well coached. They will be ready this week but  I have ranked LC high each week for a reason. This is a really good team and they don't sleep on anybody.

: LC -14

Sapulpa (2-4) @ Bixby Blue (5-1) - Bixby Blue and #21 are chomping at the bit to get back on the field after their first loss last week and I don't expect them to be disappointed after this game.

: Bixby Blue -28

TYAA White (4-2) @ Berryhill (1-4-1) - The Berryhill defense will keep this one close through halftime but TYAA White will break loose more than a few times and pull away with this one.

: TYAA White -18

As always, EPO. Post yours and give us some reading material!!

Week 7 Pick'ems

Choctaw Gold (6-0 ???) @ Choctaw Blue ( ???)
- Choctaw Gold Will win this game without any problem and continue there undefeated season.

Norman ( ???) @ Yukon ( ???)
-Don't Know Much about either of these teams.  Just off of what I have read I think Yukon will get the win here.

Coweta (0-6) @ Hilldale (2-4)
- Hilldale has had a rough schedule this season.  Great coached team with a game changer in #3.  They will get back on the winning side without any issues this weekend.

Broken Arrow White (6-0) @ Glenpool White (0-6)
- BA White wins this without any issue at all.  Glenpool white is a young group of kids that has had some injuries.  Clock will be shut off by half!!!

Wagoner (3-3) @ Muskogee Green (4-2)
- Muskogee should win this game without any problem at all.  The speed will be too much for Wagoner to handle, and #7 will have a field day on both sides of the ball.  Wagoner here is your chance to show what you got if you can beat these guys.

Bixby Red (3-3) @ TYAA Red (5-0-1)
- TYAA Red wins this game, and shuts off the clock in the 3rd quarter.  Speed kills and TYAA has plenty of it!

Catoosa Green (3-2-1) @ Owasso (1-5)
- Clock shuts off in the 3rd quarter! Catoosa has all there boys back this week and will be ready to go this weekend.

Broken Arrow Gold (4-2) @ Sequoyah (0-5-1)
- Broken Arrow wins this game without any problem at all.  #32 has a field day in Sequoyah this weekend.

Skiatook (5-0-1) @ Bartlesville (0-6)
- Always Go with my boys!!!

TYAA Blue (5-0-1) @ Collinsville (1-4-1)
- Clock shuts off in the 3rd quarter.  This group of boys can play ball and #7 will be way too much for the Cardinals.

Muskogee White (5-1-0) @ Verdigris (2-2-2)
- Muskogee wins this game without any problem at all.  The speed that Muskogee white has will be too much for verdigris.

Catoosa Black (1-5) @ Claremore (2-3-1)
- Claremore has there running back returning shouldn't be a problem for them to get the "W" in this one.

Broken Arrow Black (3-1-2) @ TYAA Black (4-2)
- I think this will be a close game but I think TYAA get the win in this one.

Broken Arrow Platinum (0-6) @ Sand Springs (4-2)
- Sand Spring goes to 5-2 after the win this week.  They should shut the clock off at half.

Lincoln Christian (6-0) @ Glenpool Blue (3-3)
- This is a game I would pay to see.  Great coaching and great players on both sides.  I will stand with what I have said since the beginning Lincoln Christian is one of the best in this league.

Sapulpa (2-4) @ Bixby Blue (5-1)
- Bixby blue wins this game by 2 touchdowns they will hungry to get back on the winning side of things.

TYAA White (4-2) @ Berryhill (1-4-1)
- TYAA will be to much for this Berryhill group.

Division 1: Choctaw Gold -28....

Division 2

Coweta (0-6) @ Hilldale (2-4) - Shaffer will have his boys ready to run a triple reverse with a pass option all while the center does the hype after the snap! Hornets to good here! Hot Chocolate on the game afterwards on the coach!!

: Hilldale -28

Broken Arrow White (6-0) @ Glenpool White (0-6) Glenpool is getting better but BA White will be to much

: BA White  -28

Wagoner (3-3) @ Muskogee Green (4-2) - love what Muskogee is doing! See them making a nice playoff run! RB runs wild in this one!

: Muskogee Green -28

Bixby Red (3-3) @ TYAA Red (5-0-1) -
Never sleep on a Spartan team! Some of the best coaches in the league but Tyaa is calling in Curtdog this week for a motivational speech!! Tyaa  in control by end of 3rd QTR

: TYAA Red - 22

Division 3

Catoosa Green (3-2-1) @ Owasso (1-5) -  no doubt the hardest schedule to start the year! This one could turn into a snooze fest. Strategy is running triple option pass by 3rd quarter!! What’s in the backpack he always carries we will never know?? Playbook from Madden perhaps?

:Catoosa Green -28

Broken Arrow Gold (4-2) @ Sequoyah (0-5-1)
-BA Gold is handing out helmet stickers by halftime!!
: BA Gold -21

Skiatook (5-0-1) @ Bartlesville (0-6) - I graduated from Beggs so I can’t count very high but Skiatook by a million give it take a few! #85 will be feasting on Bruins this Saturday! Over by the first qtr or will the old Hc show mercy? You play to win the game!!! After the game Skiatook coach will enjoy a fresh salad with 2 packs of crackers as he’s lost 70lbs and is built like a freshman kicker now instead of a Div 1 TE

 Skiatook -1 Million

TYAA Blue (5-0-1) @ Collinsville (1-4-1) -
Coach Rushing will probably be at Skiatooks game trying to find a way to get #85 into Tyaa!! He’s got address!!! Tyaa Blue to much here. Over by half!

TYAA Blue -28

Division 4

Muskogee White (5-1) @ Verdigris (2-2-2) - Muskogee scores often and early!!!

: Muskogee White -28

Catoosa Black (1-5) @ Claremore (2-3-1) -
Don’t know much about either teams but leaning Claremore

: Claremore -7

Broken Arrow Black (3-1-2) @ TYAA Black (4-2) -  not often I go against the bulldogs and that’s not changing here. This one is gonna come down to the end!

: Bulldogs -1

Division 5

Broken Arrow Platinum (0-6) @ Sand Springs (4-2) -
: Sand Springs -28
This is like Ou vs Kansas! Let’s hope the game isn’t interrupted in the 4th quarter for a better game! Show mercy Sand Springs for the love of Pete sake!

Lincoln Christian (6-0) @ Glenpool Blue (3-3)
Hoping we don’t get the scoreboard shutoff on us. Lincoln is big fast and athletic. Glenpool is small, slow and one of our coaches is a Giants fan so we don’t know how to win yet!! Good luck fellas!

Sapulpa (2-4) @ Bixby Blue (5-1) - #21 can run. Don’t let him outside or you won’t see him again until he’s in the end zone!! He’s still scoring on Glenpool 2 weeks later!!

: Bixby Blue -20

TYAA White (4-2) @ Berryhill (1-4-1) -
#35 is still haunting my dreams. My son still has nightmares about him!!  Berryhill can play as well. Closer than the experts think!

: TYAA White -12
