Peewee Ball

I ask a ref yesterday why three of the teams we were screaming with able to play with Peewee balls in the 7th grade, he said it was his job to monitor that. Well ask a ref,  what do I do when that happens? It happened in a play off game to years a go, with the same answer, why have a rule if it's not inforcable.

So I think you are saying a 7th grade team is playing with a pee wee football right?  They should not be playing with a ball that says peewee on it. 
Rulebook says: 6th and 7th grades - equivalent of Wilson TDJ (Junior size or larger)
I would recommend you bring it to the officials attention and if they won't change it, go to the site director. 
I will ask the officials to check the size of the ball if requested by the opposing coach in the future.
